Nice build, now enjoy it... play safe... B...

POR 15 love it, remember plenty of gloves, ‘can’t be stressed enough’ and old clothes, harder than power-coat, be aware it will fade in direct sunlight becoming an ugly purplish color, use forethought as to what gets coated and what gets paint… B…

rust protection or looks? paint? undetrcoat? POR-15 the best... B...

Small town shop, young kid doing the work, besides the look on his face was punishment enough... Plus it wasn’t a brand new tire, it has wheeling scars already… B... If the tire shop damaged the tires rendering them un-usable then why are they not paying for a NEW replacement tire?

Tire with messed up beads screwed to the rims? I mean drilling the rim, placing 7 to 10 short screws around the rim into, but not entirely thru the tire's bead, Unsure if it would hold air without assistance, would you trust it to wheel? tire's tread is very good, hints my conundrum, My local tire shop tried changing them for me, before realizing they had bead locks, he did a number to it  , was told by the little 'knucklehead' at tire shop it was done all the time :huh???: Feedback? thoughts??? Badly worn ball joint, tie rod end(s), massive play in the steering box, could be as simple as bad shocks, any number of things can cause it to shimmy … B…

I want one? B... -
Above are all good suggestions I want to add one, You said you driven it about 1000 miles in the last ten years therein lies one of the largest problem 'DRIVE IT MAN', it doesn’t get hot enough to clean itself, change the oil to detergent, drive it change the oil again after several hundred miles, After several times, I think you’ll be surprised in how it reacts in both cleanliness and performance… Again just one man’s rant… B…

I’d reply with a question, Do you wheel it? are you having problems? making noise? clunking? Then there’s your answer... ’IF it ant broken don’t fix it’… B…

for sure in the front a 92... pretty sure most of the others... B...

has anyone used a Hand Throttle?
banshee replied to Blue88Comanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I'm using one off a Honda odyssey myself works great because it was designed to mount onto the steering wheel, so remounting to onto the shifter isn't a problem, note I have mine adjust just enough to allow me to run, but NOT floor the motor, one more thing it’s hard to get used too… B… -
'its a little rough', not really you should have seen mind the day it arived, your's looks good and only $800 did you drive it home, or hall it??? the only thing mine had was a good drivetrane and the rest rust, good luck... B...

First question No don't use rubber, easy yes, able to operate/maintain the required pressure/temp No Second almost any parts store could get or most likely have the required fittings… B... -
Just my thoughts Looks don't make it run... Like the flares, love the tires, as far as axle, as long as your sane, you'll never have issues, the rule is D30 no larger than 30-31's, D35 no larger than 33-35's remember 'if your sane'... B...

Here’s my question I bought an XJ 4.0L HO for parts, it runs well but hot 220+, as it runs and the temp climbs the water is blown into the overflow bottle and then it overflows in about 15-20minuts, 16lbs cap seems to me to well over that pressure ‘unable to confirm’ after shutdown with relieve lifted to took several minutes to relieve the pressure, upon compression test everything looks normal ‘not good’ but normal for the mileage, 200,000+ Test Fan belt off, motor running, top hose removed at thermostat housing I can see small bubbles ‘Not constant’ , but no water blowing out the exhaust pipe? Suspected head gasket, one more point it doesn’t miss??? better ideas??? The good news I didn't pay a lot for it, but the body or what's left of it, I’m not sure i could get my money back even for junk.. B…
