I just went thru the same thing, same cylinder, new O-rings, removed and used green scratch pad to clean everything, put back together using vacuum grease, and all good... Note I replaced every one, only do it once I always say… good luck... B...

good news as of 5:pm this afternoon and $80 my radiator has been repaired I'm ready to install it first thing in the morning and do a little testing then Saturday head out around 6:an for Linton and redbird and a day of wheeling yes the radiator is toast, but should make it thru the day without issues we'll let the lawyer’s deal with everything else… looking forward to seeing you all there!!!B…

IAT thanks don... B... I think he means the IAT (Intake Air Temperpature) sensor. The stock location for this is on the intake manifold, not the airbox, although it is a popular performance mod.

no clutch fan bearing went out causing the damage, fan replaced radiator still in welding shop hopfully it'll be ready for saturday wheeling at redbird??? if not i'll be wheeling at TJ... B...

isn't your high idle temp switch inside the airbox, and dosen't it have to be removed/relocated first? B...

ouch most expensive two hours wheeling I’ve ever spent 10:am installed new $250 radiator 11:am went wheeling 12:30pm clutch fan chewing on radiator 1:pm radiator removed at local shop to be welded 1:20pm stupid welder blew large hole into core instead of telling him and/or showing him how unhappy I was I just left, I’ll call tomorrow afternoon to see if he made any progress, Note got brownie points from wife for not showing my ^ss at shop… B…

as of 8:pm i now have a three core aluminm radiator in my manche i also have a SS 20g fuel cell inside the bed, lines on, not mounted down, antifreeze not installed, things to do tomarrow... B...
