  1. Ok so I'm having issues with uploading so i will run these 3 links till i get it figured out these are 3 shots of. The paint tires and rollbar i got alot of work left to do yet plan on uploading more detailed pics of the process
  2. So iv been slowly working on my mj between it and 2 bikes along with some home remodeling time is spread thin. Anyway i have trimed fenders/box sides, removed front bumper in preperation of something abit more solid. Added a rollbar, new to me rims and 33s no lift what so ever. Pics as soon as i upload to photobucket.
  3. Thanks guys i havnt read the whole thing yet but from what i have read it helped me figure a few things out.
  4. May have been a mt package with a leaf added. I had to go check mine 4+1 on my 86mt. Have you checked the vin to see if its an original mt package?
  5. Wonderd what all is involved in swaping the clips out. Seen on another post there is some trimming involved. What might the trimming be? Do i have to have the doors to ?because they are not on the 97xj. i know there is another thread going on this but i didnt want to steal it for my own questions. As usual any help is much apriciated.
  6. Thanks for the reply I'm going to try and cut the tube get a new fitting and just reflair the line.
  7. Does anybody know where to get the hose for the clutch system on a 86 mj? Was replacing the slave and master cylenders and when i went to remove it from the slave it has seized and been rounded to the point that even vise grips can't hold. any help is extreamly apriciated.
  8. My dad had a set of the nexan roadian m/t. They actualy were a decent tire in the mud. But not near as good as the bf goodrich m/t. Or even the bf goodrich a/t.
  9. If i am reading your post corectly you are wanting to run 31" tires and you are not going to be wheeling the mj hard and binding it much. I am currently running 31" tires on my completly stock mj and have no issues puting it in a prety good bind. Especialy in the rear if worried about the front i wuld recomend 1.5-2" spacers nuthing spectacular but shuld leval front and rear and give you no issues. That shuld give you an idea of how hard you can flex a stock mj with 31" ers. Front and rear hit the bumpstopes before rubing.
  10. There is no need to block the opening no exaust gases come out of there just warm air basicly where it attaches is a heat shealed doubled to help heat the air charge to get a smother idle in cold weather. I had mine takin off on my mj my dakota and my xj just to name a few no ill effects.
  11. I relocated mine to the engin bay on my xj did away with it on my mj because it broke. Found a vacume line spliced it with a t section and hooked it up that way. Like was mentiond above you will have no heater controls other than fan and temp will be stuck on defrost.
  12. Verry cool thanks alot guys i guss i never caught the whole cap thing my self lol live and learn.
  13. I'm not talking alot smaller just small enoff to fit the tubing thru for the snorkle i don't realy want to be loosing any coolant my self. I may look into the napa tank got any pics of the tank?
  14. Thanks i don't realy want to completly rid of the tank for many reasons. But wuld i be able to find say a can for a presurised system that is smaller.
  15. I am wanting to make a diy snorkle for my 86 2.5l mj and noticed that the radiator overflow catch tank is right where i need to make the opening in the fender. What i am wondering is 1. Is this a presurized system? And 2. Can i just find another smaller catch can for the job? Any help apriciated.
