  6. #1: i don't think the front cable form a LWB is longer. Just the rear cables are longer. depending on how much lift you have? it might help to use new rear cables from a LWB MJ #2: DIY: Adjustable MJ Load Sensing Valve= http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=17968 related post for removal=http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=22773&hilit=rear+Proportioning+sensor #3:  XJ clutch pedal assembly will bolt right up. :brows: & good luck with the search for the 97+ XJ donor
  7. ? 1: related post : http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=30793 ? 2: dose it still run the rear load proportioning sensor ? ? 3: might be easier to swap the clutch assembly from a junk yard XJ , then fixing it.

  10. The (Throttle Position Sensor) ''TPS'' on RENIX vehicles must be adjusted properly. Very important. Here is more............ RENIX automatic transmission equipped MJ's have a TPS with two connectors. There is a three-wire connector, the automatic TPS also has a four-wire connector. The four-wire connector provides data to the TCU. Disconnect the four-wire connector. Key ON, measure voltage between "A" positive and "D" ground. Note the voltage. This is your REFERENCE voltage. Now, reconnect the four-wire connector to the TPS. Back-probe the connector at wires "B" and "D". Measure the voltage. This is your OUTPUT voltage. Your OUTPUT voltage needs to be eighty-three percent of your REFERENCE voltage. Adjust the TPS until you have achieved this percentage, if you can't replace the TPS and start over. TPS has two sides--one side feeds the ECU, and the other side feeds the TCU. If you have TRANSMISSION issues check the four-wire connector side of the TPS. If you have ENGINE issues check the three-wire connector side of the TPS.

  12. I picked up a set of City Lights, & plan to install them on my MJ with the H4 HID's i run in IPF housings. These are easy to install with the H4 conversion, but as you can see, the H4 HID Bulb is different. The three alignment pins do not sit flat against the Hid Bulb Flange, & there are no holes for the lead wires. Had to drill small hole underneath the bulb in the plastic, and brake off the alignment tabs of the City Light Ring :( Sense I broke off all the alignment pins, I plan on using the reflective shield to mount the City Light's to the HID Bulb. To do this I had to drill two small holes through the City Light Ring, and use the screws from the reflective shield to mount them. We decided to use our lights as an additional turn signal, so wiring was easy as splicing them in on the turn signal. Here's a pick with the hazard's on near dusk.
  13. You can use rear swaybar links off an F350 truck, about 78-79 year model as they are longer than MJ-XJ front swaybar links this is the cheep option
