  2. I see four every morning and every evening outside my house.
  3. There is only one bracket per side listed in the '90 parts manual and they appear to be rivited in place.
  4. Will the t-case linkage still align correctly without the x-member recess since it pivots in the trans tunnel? I don't know so I'm just asking.
  5. Just make sure the XJ you get the X-member from also has the AX-15.
  6. My wife's cousin's son is in his second season of Formula Drift which starts next weekend in Long Beach, CA. I find it difficult to take seriously an auto sport that is judged, seems too subjective. But I do appreciate the skill it takes to drive and set up the cars.

    VIN help!

Nice, congratulations. It should be '90 not an '89 since the 10th digit is an L, K is '89.
  8. This is the inner shift boot, someone on here said this one fit their MJ. http://www.quadratec.com/products/52106_03.htm
  9. Herculiner itself is Xylene based, the instructions say to thin it with Xylene.
  10. Here's all the info you need from the UC Davis Integrated Pest Management site. http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7431.html
  11. PM an address I'll send you a pair.
  12. The trick I used came from a member from this board. Wet toilet paper, place it in the pilot bearing, use a rod and hammer it in, keep adding wet TP and hammering it in. I've done it three times, doesn't seem to do anything at first, but it will press the bearing out. Similar to the wheel bearing grease method but a more stable substrate.
  13. All three of my RENIX MJs have this wire to nowhere. Maybe the '88 electrical manual has some info. http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12734&hilit=Electrical+manual
  14. None of my MJs had the wiring (88-90), I spliced into the door speaker wiring. The '88 MJ electrical manual does not show any wiring for the knee panel speakers.

    my MJ ......

My momma dogface on the bannana patch, I though I had a stroke. Google won't translate Virginian :D
  16. What headliner adhesive have you guys used with good long-term success? I see some by big names like 3M, Loctite and Permatex along with some others. I don't want my headliner sagging in a year.
  17. Thanks MJ, I didn't want to just start prying on them.
  18. Can the vent registers be removed with the dash in place? How?
  19. The clutch is the same but the slave cylinder tubing is bent differently. It will still work but you may have to bend them a little especially if you want the rubber bushing to fit.

  21. Received mine today, THANKS Brett.
  22. Just for reference, the pin is just a flared roll pin and the nut is a star washer type. People have just used a screw in the pin hole at the 7 O'clock position.
  23. Nice  . It looks like Plum Crazy (FC7).
