  1. Natural pest control, I like it.
  2. My reverse lights occasionally will not work but if I mess around with the NSS connector at the harness (near firewall on passenger side) they will. I have not tracked down if the problem is the NSS connector or the harness connector since I rarely use reverse in that truck. And happy 1000th post!
  3. This has some good info and a link to making an adjustable one. http://comancheclub.com/topic/45839-mj-height-sensing-brake-proportioning-valve-adjustment-procedure/?hl=adjustable&do=findComment&comment=490357
  4. OK INjake89mj, you're added to my HATE list!! Those are AWESOME!! :rock on: I'm very envious of all you guys!
  5. Looks GREAT! How did I miss this one? I should have snagged it since I live about 60 miles from Santa Rosa.
  6. Back in 2004 my wife special ordered her Stratus RT because she wanted a manual. All our cars have been manual except for one of the MJs and her new FJ Cruiser.
  7. What specifically did you hate about about the Novak?
  8. Make sure yours does not look like this. This can happen when the body is lifted by the frame and the axle sags, as the vehicle is lowered the valve can orient incorrectly. . Should look like this (Hornbrod's picture)
  9. Does anyone have the link to that Comanche camper conversion? I thought someone on here had it and sold it but I can't find it in the classifieds. Edit: found it http://comancheclub.com/topic/36711-comanche-of-the-month-january-2013/?fromsearch=1 and http://comancheclub.com/topic/36044-the-campmanche/?hl=comanche%20camper Also came across this in my searches http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/28618936/gotomsg/28619008.cfm
  10. Rear axle identification: http://www.800-923-jeep.com/techCorner/axle_id.cfm To post pictures they must be hosted on some other site such as photobucket.com and then the image URL is added to your message here.
  11. According to the VIN it's an '89 (K) Pioneer 2WD 4.0L, it's not a 5001-6000 GVWR, the following is from the '90 FSM, '89 had the same codes. It might have a D44, my '89 2WD Pioneer has a D44 with the 'F' designation, my '90 2WD Sportruck has a D35 also with the 'F' designation.
  12. You need a rear bumper for inspection even though they could come from the factory without one? I thought California was bad. Good luck.
  13. I though one of the ComancheClub rules was any question can be asked, no matter how many times it has been asked/answered, and members should not give the OP a hard time.
  14. Qualified the title for you.
  15. What we've all known. https://www.hagerty.com/articles-videos/Articles/2016/07/22/Top-Five-Six-Cylinders?utm_source=ExactTarget&utm_medium=email&utm_term=&utm_content=&utm_campaign=Hagerty%20Weekly%20News%207-27-2016
  16. Absolutely! Get the headlight delay module. People have told me I've left my lights on and when I tell them they're on a delay they can't believe a vehicle that old had that option.
  17. You can use exhaust band clamps, available at Summit/Jegs/local parts stores. They come in preformed for overlap or lap for butt joints.
  18. I have no idea but want to know how you will finally do it, which I know you will figure out.
  19. The 4.0 has a pressure bottle http://m.quadratec.com/products/product.php?pid=51216+01 or if you want fancy http://macsradiatorshop.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Jeep The 2.5 has a traditional overflow http://m.quadratec.com/products/product.php?pid=51216+02
  20. I learned that same mnemonic device in the early '80s in my high school electronics shop. They probably don't teach that any more in our current "PC" environment
  21. I think the short one is for a manual trans and the larger is for the floor shift auto which has the shift cable that comes out the front.
  22. Not sure of the year but it has a 10 slot grill so maybe '87? Also looks like an old radio and I thought those head rests were in XJs only?
