here's my friends YJ same as mine just i didnt have a pic of mine you can see the clips and everything. Just keep in mine he has about 6" of lift and 35s also when you do it don't just cut the stockers in half we cut a chunk out of it and it worked out great just leave a little more than you need to drill the hole for the pins. Plus his stock arms are straight and ares are bent at the top. Cole

Ok just for you to see in person pull one tire up on a ramp and take a look at everything as far as flex. Then unbolt your sway bar and pull back up. You will see a huge diff in flex between the 2. You use a disco so that you can have them connected for road driving and then in a flick of some pins there are disconected and you get way better flex. I love haveing them but they can be a pain to put back on :wall: but i just need to refine them. Look into it you will like the difference in the flex of your rig. Just make sure you don't leave them disco'd on the road cause you will NOT stay in the road at higher speeds I know from experience and with saying that you also need to have extra pins in the truck at all times. BTW i can post pics if needed i have 2 jepps here with the same homemade setup on them just let me know. Or ill try to find some i might have a little later and go ahead. Cole

Mitchel on demand is like a haynes on steriods and it gives great info and diagrams. I can "GET" access at certain times but not steady and not for the next 4 months since the guy i "get" it from is deployed. We have used it alot and it is so much better that a chiltons or haynes IMO it goes into alot of detail because its for mechanic shops to use. enjoy it while it lasts. ;) Oh yeah and any projects you plan to tackle go ahead and print off anything you might think you need for later since you want have access long. :D Cole

Yeah if they had the color i wanted i would but i just spray painted the whole thing OD green so it wouldnt be right now for the exterior. My main concern was how well a brush worked on applying it. Sounds like this is great stuff. I will find the silver and use it. Thanks alot Cole

I was thinking when i seen it in gallons and stuff those were for spray guns but then i seen the starter kit and it had brushes and then Ya'll are talking brushes> Just thought id ask. Cole

All the lights are kinda linked together thats why if you have one out that side flashes faster than it should. Maybe put the old bulbs back in just to rule that out. Cole -

Turn signals and hazard lights-1989 MJ
JOMJ87 replied to Kenosha Warrior's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I think its under the dash in the top of the fuse panel.IIRC I know for certain it wil make them act strange. My buddy had one go crazy on his YJ and they did some crazy stuff. Also if you change to LED bulbs you will possibly have issues with the relay. Cole -
