  1. I got one in mine ill try to get some pics. Cole
  2. If your lifting it why not go ahead and buy the adjustables so you already have them ready. Also my experience is that adjustable are easier to get in since the rotate you can get them perfectly lined up for the hole but you still need to beat them in or use a bottle jack to get them in. Cole
  3. Its in the help section i think but yes its custom its part XJ. Cole

    Hacked huh

Good to know. it seems i missed alot. Cole
  5. Remember the axle is held in place by these and once removed it will move and rotate down and back. just watch fingers and feet. ;) Cole

    Hacked huh

WTF i leave for a week and miss this..... one of the other jeeps sites i am on was hacked awhile back and they wiped out everything and it had to start all over again. Good work Pete. Cole
  7. Isnt this projects instead of tech. But anyway it looks good Cole
  8. Death wobble. You need to look at all the front linkage and check to see whats bad i.e. TRE and any joints. very common for alot of people. One way to check is climb under the front and have someone wiggle the steering wheel back and forth and you look to see if anything seems loose like the steering is moving but the tires sit there and the joints wobble back and forth. Cole
  9. Yeah Pete its your fault :agree: Just kidding but you should do it. Really Cole
  10. I know there is a street truck thread in the project forum and there are a few around here. Cole
  11. Yopu can get stock MJ seats from A JY Cole
  12. Great idea Cole
  13. Love it maybe go a little bigger with the front Logo. IMO Cole
  14. I had to clarify some stuff for him so i think he will post the directions here. Cole
  15. aemsee since you do this for a living i had a similar post about removal and had one little question....How or Can you gut the column and replace all the guts and outer plastic. You can post this in my post here http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1872 or if its alright with Woody u can put it here since it might help him to. I have all the replacement pieces and entire column i was just trying to make it a little easier. thanks for any input and sorry bout the partial thread jack Woody. :D Cole
  16. It takes 2 peeps to make it easier. Just have one person shove the plate down and then you have to remove the c-clip then it will fly off at you literally. That is if that is the peice they are refering to. Cole
  17. You can check to see if your injestors are spraying correctly with a timing light just hook it up like you would to check timing buut point it at an injector and you should see a mist it shouldnt be squrting. I did this on my 2.5 but its TBI so maybe someone can give you more details on this with a fuel rail. I would think if you just pulled the rail out and then hold it to the side and then try to crank it but i don't know for sure. Just throwing ideas out there. Cole
  18. Here are some of my pics of my fenders plus I'm running TJs up front with 35s stuffed all the way. Hope this helps. If you have Q just let me know. Cole
  19. You could a smaller logo on the front and position it over to the left side. Then on the bck have the writing but maybe a little shorter. Just an idea to throw out there. Cole
  20. It will crank over w/out the crank sensor hooked up, but it won't run. Thats what i ment  \ Cole
  21. Yeah but it can't hurt to check. :brows: :dunno: Cole
  22. I am excited about this. I hope it works out. Cole
  23. Not exactly sure but if that one on the bellhousing is the crank position sensor it won't crank at all. That is what tells it when the #1 pistin is at TDC. Cole
  24. don't hold me to this but i remeber reading on several occasions that a ggod baseline is 4" uptravel from level and 6"+ drop. IIRC those shocks will only give you 3.67" of drop and 6.21 of stuff so they seems backwrds to what i have heard UNLESS and this is a chance I flipped the numbers around. Cole
  25. don't buy rustys as you will here and read alot. Do a SOA rear and buy all the front componets from different places to insure a good quality. Pretty much do a complete bastard lift kit with all the parts you prefer to have so you don't have any regrets in the end. Also you don't need a SYE in a manche with 6.5" of lift i am running 7.5-8" and i have no issues except i lengthened my D-Shaft. Also the Front axle woulnt be a big issue unless you are running 35s or bigger or heavy footed IMHO. The rear is another story...The d35 in the rear is very weak and needs changed but with saying that i have a 35 with 35" BFG tires and never broke plus i have a lockrite in it. I have had alot of luck but i also take it super easy on it. Another reason i havent swapped is because i have 2 complete extra D35s and then a trail set of parts so if i do brake i can fix it. I know others will help you choose parts for the front and let you know the best options for what you want it to do. Good luck Cole
