  1. I don't have any pics of it in progress  But i will tell you how i cut them. I aligned the top of the flare with the ridge on the top of the fender and marked on the inside where they mount. I also used rivets and selftapping screws to attach. Cole
  2. Aussie or Elocker...I hate my lockrite but if you wan tit I will consider selling it for the right price but you would have to wait alittle bit for it since its still in the truck. I also have a carrier with 4.10s out of a xj. Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt there a carrier brake at the 3.55 range????I was thinking you would have to swap carriers if you went Lower (numerically higher) gears with a 3.55 carrier??? Cole
  3. Oh it will and this smiley should be cash not paper :papers: you will be empty pocketed before you turn around. Cole
  4. Check your switch on the pedal for the brake light. Mine shorted one time and they did the same as yours until fuses started popping??? Cole
  5. I could use around 400 real quick if you want to invest in my truck for me. Hell Ill even ut your name on it as a sponsor..... :brows: :jump: :clapping: Just kidding buy another and put the left overs in a stock or something to make some money for later when you brake one of them... Cole
  6. No it doesnt lock it like a locker it makes it think you have a straight axle on that side instead of the vaccum which doesnt always work. Cole
  7. I had 31s and 3.55s and it wasnt much worse than my 35s and 4.10s so you should be ok but if you go with a ax-5 you will not see overdrive to much but PLAN for LATER cause you know once you start you can't stop. Its kinda like crack. Cole

  15. Chrysler DID buy AMC in 1987 but they let AMC have a big say at first since they didnt know anything about the models they sold. My 87 has chrysler and AMC markings on certain parts and it is the same on alot of the MJ and XJs during the intitial change over. CDX did own AMC but the AMC name lived alittle while after they bought them. I did a research project on jeep history that was 7 pages long from the late 30s to present (well 04 was when I done it) I found alot out in the report that I wouldnt even have thought wouldve went on Including the whole deal with the military selling the plans Willys had done for the M series military jeep to ford and Kaiser then backing out of the contract with Willys cause the other 2 took the designs WO had done and made them Better. Ford was the biggest winner on this deal and it was the rough start for the jeep name. Thought Id throw in alittle history for ya. Cole
  16. It says that you can buy it for each year of each jeep???? So I don't know Plus its only $24.00 so its real cheap compared to the ones I have seen. Cole
  17. If they look like the stripped down one in your avatar there isnt much metal left to scrap though..... :teehee: :jump: :rotfl2:
  18. I will let you know what there reply is to my email asking about it. I guess we can go from there??? Cole
  19. I just thought Id like to be able to print out what I need and then use it till It gets to much grease on it and then print out another ;) Also some others wanted a FSM on disk so I was putting this out there for them. Cole
  20. Ok I was searching around and found this http://www.mediatechholdings.com/index.php?cPath=22_44 I emailed them to verify it is a FSM and not a Chiltons. Also I am working on getting a Chiltons guide uploaded for people to reference to. And this FSM is going to also be buying the FSM and uploading it IF its a FSM. Thought Id share the info for you guys that may want this. Cole
  21. I loved my 4 speed but the overdrive will be nice when I get the gears I want (mid 5.??) but if your mostly doing street and not to low of gears go ahead and do the 4. WHat tires and how is it going to be used also what gears I couldnt check your beginning post so I am not sure if you said. I have 4.10s and 35" tires and I can run 65 but can't maintain that in 5th gear if i hit the slightest incline so it mostly stays in fourth. BUT make sure you arent going to need overdrive in the future if you have any big plans. If you do go ahead and get the AX-5 or whatever your getting. Cole
  22. Where did you buy that stuff from and how much did those Uppers run you if you don't mind me asking and sorry for the JACK. Cole
  23. BFG m/t's are great for on and off road. Just alittle thin on the sidewall. Cole
