I have one that I might be willing to sell. I've never used it. It's been at my buddy's shop since new. I think he ended up buying a hydrolic bender and isn't using it anymore. Tim

Thanks guys! My reason for the swap in the 91 is an extremely loud knock and a leaky everything. I can buy the new engine for cheap. My 88 at 142k is still strong and passed the smog test yesterday. I've done tons of axle, tranny, and T-case swaps. We have lifted and repaired many jeeps in my garage. I can weld anything from a broken heart to the crack of dawn. Swapping an engine is a first for me. Will the old heads and intake bolt up from 91 to 02? Would that be the easiest route? Tim

I have a chance to buy a 4.0 with 14k miles from an 02 TJ that I'd like to drop in my 91. Will it work? What kind of problems should I expect? Any input would be appreciated. :chillin: Tim

I have the Kilby on board air engine driven setup on my rubicon. Both front and rear bumpers are converted to air tanks. I can seat a bead or run air tools. Fills up my 36" Iroks pretty quick from 3 psi to 30. My backup system is another ruby with the same setup that my better half drives. :chillin: Tim

Tim, that's highway robbery. I've got a place in Columbia IL that can take care of you a lot cheaper ('specially if you carry the seat in). I checked out the MJ's at Speedway last month, didn't see any buckets unless they got something new in, highly possible. I'd sell you my gray buckets if they weren't already included in the sale of the MJ. I may have to take you up on that Chris. I could live with the price if they were going to make it look like JohnQ's seat. They were talking about using some of the old material panels, another $75 for sun visors, and $200 more for the head liner. :nuts: I have one more place I'm going to get a price from. I bid on some bucket seat brackets on Ebay that ended up selling for $120 including shipping. :eek: Too rich for my blood!

All 3 of my bench seats are the same way. :mad: $450 to rebuild the seat and recover it. I'm looking for buckets. Tim

Doesn't look like it would be that hard to make. :brows: Woopsiedaisies, I forgot to mention in my above post that i am personally welding/fabbing illiterate. :cry: If on the other hand you can make one yourself then go for it! Hell i'd pay you money to make me one too I guess I don't think about people not having access to people that fabricate things. I started my apprenticeship in the metal trades 26 years ago this week. (We need an old smiley guy with a gray beard!) I have a bender, welder, torch, and a garage full of tools. I can make almost anything. I usually have a buddy build what I want. He has a lot more time and works cheap. I'm more of a :popcorn: these days.
