ok so updates updates. It bombed emissions due to me putting my map hose fix in the wrong hole on the throttle body. I have yet to take it back to the shop to get it re tested. This thing burns fuel like a mf I will tell you that much. I think it doesnt help that I am a little undergeared with my 4.27s. I have decided to run dual tcases it being stick now its going to be tricky to wheel without a granny low. Was running the numbers and if I chopped up my spare np231 I would have a 138 to 1 crawl. it also gives me a better front driveshaft angle which I desperately need with my front 44 and 5.5 inches of lift. Also I will be pilling the 92 HO out of the cherokee to stroke and bore. And so hopefully next summer the comanche will get a HO stroker. I fixed the overheating. closed to open did the trick I spent a total of 5 dollars on it just for some hose adapters I had everything else on hand. And my front LSD showed up so now my master installs need to come (eta mid november) and I will have double true tracs and 4.89s

I used brakleen because I used the rest of my carb cleaner to clean my throttle body I will do that when I get the chance. o2 sensor is downstream on the downpipe of the exhaust correct?

we are leak free from as far as I can see. anything else I can do to make it run cleaner? except not own a 34 year old truck

well in classic fashion I took my throttle of to clean it and I found that my vac line into the throttle wasnt going to the right hole on the nubs. the top one I thought the top one was the right one but nope its the bottom. figured I don't need to do tip 31 because I have basically already done that with the brake line?

it looks great! I have heard it really tightens the front end up

I am pretty confident about the vacuum to it. the little rubber thing that connects right to the throttle body isnt the tightest fit I had to push it back in before the test.

it got a new pump last week I do not

I got my emissions done and it is baaddddddd. I should be below 220 HC and I am at 3086-4046 and for CO2 max is 1.2 and I have 13-14.5. My map vacuum line is fine I rebuilt it with some brakeline because it snapped a while back. I have no idea what to do because I like driving my truck. I can sign up for a vintage license plate but then technically I can only cruise and take it to car shows. I also have the option of swapping an HO into it?? new injectors?

I would like to build the spare HO (stroker maybe??)in a year or 3 so fully HO swap because my renix has 312 and counting. thats smart. the new shop has a overhead s shape with a chain hoist idk about getting the block on a pallet and out of the way. Whats the best way to stop rust from getting to it? just soak it in wd40?
