Update because apparently it’s been 9 MONTHS!? Since I’ve said anything. I’m doing well. Graduated highschool and started at the university of Utah just taking 2 classes. Working with the school of music about accommodations for a music degree. No more motor function return but I’m a lot stronger and way more independent (getting into bed by yourself alone is truly something taken for granted) still living at home not doing much really. I really miss my truck just something to wrench on. I got a 24’ duramax 1500 that I am working with vocational rehab about getting a lift (it will be a gull wing style look up “atc conversions) and hand controls. I cannot wait to drive! Thank you for the prayers yall. Not using your fingers sucks!

It’s super true I’m very lucky to be young and have the medical technology available. I have been staying very very positive and bubbly.

I appreciate the words, but it is very unlikely I’ll ever be able to walk again not to mention, move my hands again. I’m so incredibly grateful to have survived

Well, this build has come to an end. I do apologize for not keeping you guys updated throughout the build I don’t know why. Got the double tru tracs in along with the double np231 which was a total pain in the @$$. Got a lot of the bumps ironed out and it was a total wheeling machine. cable shifters and all the necessary floorpan modifications to make it fit. I rolled it down a hill and barely survived More details I don’t really have the emotional capacity or to be honest the memory of everything I’ve done to it in the last year or so, I just apologize I haven’t updated you guys I hope these pictures Upload in chronological order and Adequately reflect what I’ve done in the last almost 2 years A lot of the major components or at least the components. I poured my work into relatively good condition, driveshaft axles running gear etc. and I’m gonna part it out once it gets back from insurance or at least my friends are for me so hit me up if you want I want these parts to go to other Owners and enthusiast

September 25, 2023 I rolled my jeep down a 300 foot hill broke my neck and ended up quadriplegic. The long story is me and my friend went off Roading in American Fork Canyon the main trails were closed off, so we decided to go hiking. On our way back we decided to hike up the trails to see why they were closed. We passed in a CK Chevy who said he was headed up to Silver lake reservoir So me and my buddy headed up with him and his buddy up about a half mile to an upper reservoir and found this skinny dirt road. I was ahead, and there was a group of ATVs coming in the opposite direction In trying to negotiate the pass, I pulled forward and the dirt slid out behind my passenger rear tire and apparently I didn’t notice ( I don’t remember much of the accident) ended up rolling probably eight or nine times down the hill. My friend hopped out of his jeep and ran after me turned my truck off and helped me stabilize my breathing, radio for life flight. Paramedics ended up, wrenching my doors off pulling me out putting me on an F150 bring me me down the trail putting on the helicopter. Spent five days in the ICU before heading to the Nielsen rehab center at the University of Utah. I spent nine weeks there and have spent almost 4 weeks home as of typing this. I’m eternally grateful for my friends and family supporting me through this. I’m even more grateful for my amazing physical and occupational therapist at rehab. I have a C6 spinal injury I have movement in my wrists and my biceps shoulders and a tiny little in my triceps. Right now I’m just trying to get to a point where I can head back to school in January and finish up my senior year. Bought the jeep back from insurance from what I’ve heard the drivetrain is a really great condition still, my buddies say that they’ll help me part it out so if you want pieces, you can DM me!

picked up a wide chain and a 6 pinon out of a 94 dodge 2500. its 23 spline and the doubler bound case is 21 but the 6 pinion is too long so do yall know if I can put the longe 23 spline in the rear and the short one right behind the trans? if that makes sense. just don't want to buy another input
