  1. that logic makes sense but I don't think I lifted the same amount
  2. aftermarket I measured my rake before all of this and I had 2.5" because metric ton and I am hoping to try and preserve that
  3. Ok so I got the front axle in and it centered on the first go. The steering angle is good enough for me to Get it to school and align it. One problem though is the trac bar is off by about an inch and I’m way past a diameter of bolt penetration.
  4. Thanks guys
  5. Sounds like a good plan. Any good videos or writeups on how to put and dial in a front axle?
  6. Just cleaned up my rear 44 cut the old perches off getting ready to weld on my Barnes perch kit. And so I have an issue. I’m lifting 5.5 in the front and soa rear but I’m hoping to remain at about 2-2.5 inches or rake so looking for 7.5-8 in the rear. So I think I will get about 6 in the back. Witch makes me think I need to through a 3 inch shackle in the back. Should I tack the perches on and bolt it in and then get the front dialed in see if it works then get a shackle that’s the right size?
  7. its all behind the counter
  8. my ace sucks. nut and bolt supply had everything other than hardened all thread. I picked up some big beefy 3/4 inch bolts for my steering
  9. well lol I just checked the shipping and the pilot should come today. I will figure something out
  10. thats a good point we will see. not going to work on this for a while as waiting for pilot to come. Just gonna work on axles for the time being
  11. well I figure torque it down and then so the unthreaded part is the actual alignment should tear the bellhousing up less.
  12. new plan gonna pick up some grade 8 bolts longer and then cut the heads off
  13. Grade 2 was all they had I assumed it’s fine it’s not like it’s under a hole lot of force
  14. Yes went to but and bolt supply picked up a bunch of stuff including some all thread
  15. Ordered hopefully it fits
  16. so which part do I need?
  17. a little confused as to what scaless is talking about. some clarification 1. clutch kit for a 92 cheroke 2. came with 2 pilot bearings one has an od of 1.001 and an id that fits on the end of my ax 15 and the second one has a larger od but a considerably smaller id that won't even begin to fit on the input shaft. 3. no cad delete instead I am putting a wagoneer d44 in the front so no more cad so I don't have to use that vac harness
  18. It was about sixes with the flywheel on or off
  19. Pilot bearing I have should fit in back hole but I think is getting caught on the lip
  20. ID is correct. The fit is close it just feels to me like fitting an aftermarket part in a hole thats never had a pilot. on the back of the crank there are 2 holes and I am aiming for the back one but I think I am having trouble getting it over the lip
  21. problem might be 92 clutch kit in 87?
  22. Yes I will do that when the time comes. would it be better to buy some studs that are the right size and just leave them or use the studs get the rest of the bellhousing bolts on then pull the studs and put bolts on?
