Sounds good either way to me. I was actually hoping for it to go, it would have given me a deadline to meet for getting the patch panels welded in and a new slop coat of paint threw on the old girl... :chillin:

I'm still thinking about doing this, I would be bringing the white MJ rather than the blue MJ. I should be able to get the patch panels done on the white MJ and get a fresh rattle can job on it by then :)

I'm not sure about the handle as I'm at work right now. But of the 2 I stripped, 1 was from the bottom of the tailgate (it is facing the ground when tailgate is up, and facing bed when tailgate is down) and the other is on the bottom of the sides that holds tailgate to bed. I would really appreciate if you had some non-stripped!! Ahh, nope I don't have those. The handle is held to the tailgate with three bolts, most of these I have seen are torx head. I have seen a few gates that had hex head bolts here though... Good Luck!

I can dig when I get home, I think I've got some of these. These are the ones that hold the handle to the tailgate?

I picked one up yesterday at the yard. I don't need it, I just got it to save it from getting crushed. You'll have to get the coolant temp. and oil pressure senders. The unit is in pretty good shape, good enough to keep from getting crushed. I paid $25 for it, I'm going to have to make some money on it to let it go. What's it worth to you? I can get you pics this afternoon. Where are these pics of the stuff you have for trade? I don't see a thread in the For Sale section?

Yes, a Cherokee XJ column will work. You also want to make note of the year that your truck is and get a compatible year, the '86-'90 MJ (or '84-'90 XJ) columns are different than the '91 -'92 columns...

It's cordovan for sure. I parted out the '88 XJ that it was in throughout this past winter. Yah its in pretty good shape, some oil would probably take care of those scratched spots. Sorry, not really looking for trades. As far as the horn button goes, I've seen them on ebay for around $20. Sounds like you are swapping the Grant wheel off of the column you have, I could probably assemble all of the interior horn connection pieces from my parts bins for an extra $5 if you need them?
