  2. Yup, I've removed one once before. Not terrible but still a pain. Would not make a special trip for under $100 though.
  3. Junkyard is in Robbins, IL but I'll be in Jefferson at the end of the month.
  4. I can probably help you out with the slider if you like. There's one in the junkyard by me..if I can get it out in one piece. I'll be up in Jefferson country WI at the end of the month for the Madison Classics. Not sure how far you are from there... Let me know if there's any interest.

  11. Okay so I traveled a couple hrs for what I THOUGHT was an AMC20 w/ 4:10 gears from an XJ. Turned out axel has 6 studs, was actually from a FSJ Grand Wagoneer. Since I made the trip and I got the axel dirt cheap I decided to keep it. My question: is it worth it or even possible to make this rear axel work on an MJ? What would be involved and easiest way to accomplish? Or am I better off selling and finding a MJ or XJ specific axel. Thanks in advance!
  12. Pretty sure I saw a light and switch on eBay for $150...gonna cost you a pretty penny I'm afraid.
  13. I'm not too far, maybe 3 hrs. Is it really that good of a deal?
  14. Can anyone offer their expertise? Not sure if this is factory or after market as I'm not familiar with how they mount. Thanks!
  15. What color are you ideally looking for and do you need the plate?
  16. Trying to remove starter. Identified the correct bolts; external torx E12. I got the one bolt out okay, but can't get the right angle on the second. It's crammed next the the bell housing and exhaust. Any tricks anyone can offer? Trying not to remove anything I don't have to. Thanks in advance!
