  1. My truck had 3.07 gears I upgraded tires to 31’s and that didn’t work. Changed to 3.73 and all is great I can even use 5th gear again. Plus it can actually accelerate going up a small grade now. Or tow my quad trailer to go to the off road areas.
  2. Just a little puddle?

This one was a year an a half ago. 340K
  4. You are correct on that one. I have 4 small, 6 6 ton normal jack stands, and 6 pipe jacks at least. don't get me started on clamps and magnets. But I’ve been collecting them for over 40 years. You never complain that you have too many but I hate being short.
  5. Long multi part project. Remove tree, build retaining wall, backfill build gate.
  6. Not really firewood but removing a tree. Then hauling the block for the wall that replaced tree.
  7. I have a few old yellow ones. Zircon I think. Have had for over 20 + years. Still works great. Probably bought at the depot.
  8. It’s only flat on the bottom
  9. Got my Christmas wreath hooked in but forgot to turn on the lights. like this pic
  10. Maybe that is why I could never get mine linked up. Must have tried 50 times
  11. 30 amp dryer plug. Easiest is to buy a dryer pigtail. And put a receptacle on the other end. Quick adapter 😀
  12. My 1989 MJ has 345xxx on it was bought brand new by step dad. Still going strong
  13. If you are going to install a new circuit for a welder. Have them put in a 50 amp circuit if possible. Most 220v welders pull 30-50 amps. I would rather have extra power available I didn’t need than have to redo everything if I got a bigger machine. Plus the cost difference is next to nothing to pull #6 instead of 10 gauge. The labor is the same just a few extra bucks in copper.
  14. I have 4 of these big red ones. Pipe jacks for welding pipe. They go from about 24” up to about 3 feet. The nice thing about them is the screw jack end makes them very adjustable. Especially when you are trying to level something out. I also have 3 pair of the hf style 6 ton jack stands. They get the most use.
  15. It’s in about the same place on a d-35 also. my cheap plastic nipple snapped off and I gotta get my keester under the truck to replace it with a metal one.
  16. Some folks have more money than brains and will buy almost anything. Some of us are more financially challenged and have to build our own or do without. I’m normally in the second bucket and enjoy figgering out how to build my own version of things. Sometimes my version is better than what’s out there.
  17. When I got my mj I had so much wind noise I couldn’t think. You get it up to speed on the freeway it sounded like you had the windows down. Went to dig something out from down by the windshield and the windshield moved. So come to find out it was only attached by about 6” at The middle of the top above the rear view mirror. Had a guy come cut it out reseal it and re install and boy did that make a difference.
  18. I had FLYNMUD on my scout for a few years. I think I still have 1 of them in the garage somewhere.
  19. Mine cost 15 cents per side. It doesn’t rain enough around here to worry about it leaking. But the wind noise will drive you nuts. I need to replace all the weatherstripping in it all of it all around the roll up windows is shot. So much road noise you don’t even try to listen to the radio.
  20. Check control arm bushings. Especially uppers. Mine were shot handles way better and the clunking has disappeared. 👍
  21. I think I used a swivelly 3/8 extension. They are a little smaller so they can wobble.
  22. If I remember right I just put a 3/8 extension in mine to drain
  23. Or just freeze the pickup tube with some dry ice. That will shrink it up right away at -109 degrees. Liquid nitrogen is even better but if you don’t have access to a dewar to haul it it’s not worth the hassle great for pilot bearing/ bushings too
  24. These don’t have the fake bead lock rivets but I like em.
