  1. Good to see you’re back at it!
  2. Agreed! Looks so good it became MJOTM.

Best MJ story- I once drove 350 miles to purchase an MJ, drove it 350 miles back home, then three days later another MJ came up on my local craigslist, so I bought that one too. CC is Awesome! Why? I would never have gotten this far without help from the great folks here at Comanche Club! The depth and breadth of knowledge here, and willingness to share is truly awesome! Congratulations and beautiful truck, @EUREKA. A long bed, 4x4, Metric Ton with a column shifted automatic is one of my favorite specs for these trucks. The pearl white also looks fantastic!
  4. I think you're onto something here. Neither of my parents last two plow trucks, nor the chassis donor for my dad's truck have had one (2000 Silverado 2500 base model, 2005 Silverado mid-level, 2000 Silverado base model) had the On-Star buttons, but my parents' 01 Suburban and 04 Suburban did, both of which were pretty much fully loaded.
  5. More progress has been made. The filler panels between the running boards and the bottom of the bed and cab have been made. The fuel filler neck has also been built. It is in the front driver side stake pocket. The filler neck goes into the stock 2000 tank. With the exception of the ABS being deleted, this truck will be a completely stock 2000 Silverado. All of the drivetrain is unchanged, as is the suspension.
  6. They look really good!
  7. What size tires did you put on? 215/75R15? They look a little smaller than my 225s on roughly the same size lift.
  8. It would be really cool to find period correct stickers of places that you guys have been on some of your camping trips, but finding some of those might be difficult.
  9. It was weird, but definitely kinda cool. It probably would've stuck around if it weren't falling off.
  10. My Comanche didn't have any stickers in the glass, but my Eagle did and my parents old 59 Chevy did (I'd assume that the stickers were added in the 80s). The Eagle had a sticker of a face with a mustache and a sombrero and said Chico above it. Kinda weird. The 59 had one in the triangle window right behind the rear doors that said Car Crazy.
  11. I would advise against Raptor liner instead of paint. I love Raptor, but I don’t think it is suitable to do an entire vehicle with. Here’s a thread in tech about the pros and cons: I would recommend painting it yourself or vinyl wrapping it before bedliner.
  12. Yes! Keep us updated please!
  13. I like those a lot as well! I’m sure you wished you never saw a picture of the Renegade.
  14. This, plus some 84-86 2.5s with 5 speeds came with 3.73s.
  15. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that would want basically no amenities. Its crazy to me that a base model with 0 options is north of 30 grand, especially when Wranglers are not known for all of their creature comforts. The fresh faces would explain why the vehicles are underwhelming. I did not know that there were new people there.
  16. Overall, those floors don't look too bad. Not great by any means, but not terrible.
  17. i think black was available on all models, it does seem more common on Eliminators though. The bumper being a different color and the sport bar are what made me realize it wasn't yours.
  18. I feel like the last few years of EJS concept vehicles have been lacking. For the most part, they seem like production vehicles with bolt ons. My favorite one is the Willys Dispatcher because it seems to be the one that is truest to what Jeeps were about 20+ years ago. 1st: Gladiator Rubicon High Top 2nd: Wrangler Low Down 3rd: Wagoneer Vacationeer. 4th: Willys Dispatcher I would really like to see a production version of something like the 2016 Short Cut concept. For a daily driver for me (and probably lots of people), there is not much reason for more than two seats. I'd love to see a Wrangler that's even shorter than the current two door and comes extremely basic. I'm talking like a radio, doors, a top, cruise control, air conditioning and a back seat are options. Just give me a small Jeep, a 4 cylinder, 6 speed stick, and a Dana 44 in the rear at a reasonable price (no reason something like this should be more than $20,000) and I'd be happy. What would other people like to see Jeep put into production?
  19. Yeah, the lack of paint prep and the fact that the patches were welded over the spot welds of the floor braces tell me everything I would need to know, but we also know how things like that can spiral.
  20. For a second, I thought this was @pizzaman09’s truck and the pictures were taken with an old camera or a filter
  21. Those patches look like they’re placed right over the rust. I’d say cut it all out and start over. Your floor braces look salvageable if you’re careful cutting out the previous hacks… I mean previous patches.
  22. Gotcha. I knew he had MJCARENA’s old truck, I just couldn’t remember which slider he had. In that case, I’m going to guess that the center pane is loose in its channel.
  23. Is yours OEM (3 panes) or aftermarket CR Lawrence (4 panes)? I suspect that either your latch is rattling because something is bent or broken or that your felt window runs have worn out letting the glass rattle around.
  24. Looks good! That raptor liner is a good product. My dad has been using it well over 10 years on the underside of his restorations, along with the inside of his YJ tub and the bed of my MJ. All of which have held up very well.
  25. There were two styles of Renix full clusters. Blue and whatever the other one is called. The blue one was earlier and had similar style gauges to the Renix dummy light clusters. The other one had a similar look to the HO clusters. In regards to function or compatibility between 4.0 and 2.5, I believe that they are the same.
