Nah, it wasn’t too exciting. Me jumping the MJ is posted in the Pub though.

It runs better than my blue one did before the engine swap too

Pass. Cobbled floors are scary.

Today we pulled the AX-15 out of my parts truck that will go in one of these trucks. We aren’t sure which yet.
-
Actually, I just remembered that we plan to make one of my brothers J10s a beater to wheel and jump.
-
I mean I do have another solid MJ...
-
@Swampy is selling his axles and suspension out of his truck. Maybe he’d sell you his control arms and drop brackets.
-
I saw that and was wondering the same thing! It also seems like an early 90
-
Yes it did! I was picking a lot of rust up out of the yard.
-
Yeah, that parts wasn’t as fun. I was walking around the yard picking up rust yesterday

I believe I have a photo in there, and a link to this thread, but I’ll link a video too.

Thanks! It did really well, all things considered.

That was the plan! The landings were surprisingly cushy.

My parts truck. I am finishing pulling parts, then it goes to the junkyard. 4.0, AX-15, bucket seats, D30, D35, tow hooks, topper

As many of you may know, I recently bought a parts truck. Most of the parts that were spoken for were already pulled (my brother is keeping the trans for his J10 projects). So, what do you do when you have a driveway you can jump and a cheap beater that is going to get scrapped? You jump it! The front leaf spring mounts became detached, so we ratchet strapped them good enough to stay together. You can see in a video that I ran down to the MJ when my dad was driving it. That was because it was on fire, the injector o rings leak. Here are some pics, the videos will be posted shortly. My second jump, not as good as the first. Frame “repairs” More frame “repairs” Post jumping frame damage More post jumping frame damage My first, and best jump. It really just looks like crappy photoshop, but it isn’t. A slightly zoomed picture of my best jump. The let of the frame damage.

https://mohave.craigslist.org/cto/d/yucca-88-jeep-comanche/7254962134.html “128k miles, great condition considering it's age 2.5L rwd sport model. No rust, no bondo. New BF koa2 245 with less than 150 miles. Comes with 2.5in leveling kit, new shocks and wheel spacers (could not install due to shoulder injury) I'll even through in a set of spring compressors. New clutch, all fluids have been changed. Needs a new valve cover. It's chipped on the oil fill. I ordered one but it was a half inch too long and the bolt holes didn't line up. New bluetooth hands free pioneer stereo and 4 speaker system. Clean interior, no cracks in the dashboard. LED headlights and floodlights. New plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. Runs great, a little shaky at 65mph, but not bad (no death wobble).”

This truck is in near stock condition, after market bucket seats with lumbar support installed, console emergency brake installed, after market radio. Mechanical systems have all been inspected and repaired or replaced if required. Long bed great for hauling kayaks. If the ad is still posted it is still for sale.”
