Finding out where our 86-88 MJs were originally sold is possible but doing it that way is highly confidential and I would like to not take that route. But 86-88 were AMC years so Chrysler wasn’t able to successfully transfer all the data over or AMC didn’t put their selling destination in their build sheets. Probably was a code there that was used by AMC and Chrysler recycled it at some point.

If its an '87 with 4.0L, it will have the BA unless swapped. Pete posted a pic that showed when the AX15 went into service.

MJ's never came in RHD from the factory. It wasn't until sometime in the 90's when Chrysler started doing that.

If I can’t find an antenna cable that runs from the fender to the cab today, does anyone have one they might sell?

Lol. He hates our radios. I had him repair mine after I blew out the right channel. He even did the tape deck for me too which works flawlessly. I will say the radio comes in really clear and has a good range, I think my antenna wiring broke between removing the dash and the antenna itself. can't say for sure where.

Black cylinders are like $50 a pop. Still orderable but still needs to be coded.

Best part is they are dirt cheap, but still have to be coded. Whats odd is there are black ring Renix era cylinders.

Make due with what you got right? Hopefully it will last until you need to replace it. The yellow and silver paint scheme looks pretty good.
