  1. I like where your head is at. I hated pulling the glass the first time(twas OEM and I am still kicking myself on it as it was complete, just the lock was missing until I tore apart the interior and found it) and probably won't pull it again but its the four pane rear window so it should be plenty roomy.
  2. Yeah it will become some sort of comfort space if I ever go camping which probably will happen. This I might be able to actually put some LED strips in, run power and ground and use a factory switch in slot four on my dash board. If you do get to yours Mini and take the glass off, let me know. Not in a big hurry for it as its just the back glass.
  3. What on earth did I get myself into? Lol. This thing is cool. Need to clean and do some adjustments to get it to fit right but this thing will do great for camping and going to the drive in ;). Its missing a rear sliding window. If anyone has some parts for this thing let me know! Otherwise itll remain as is until I go to paint it Colorado Red and do some Pioneer colored stripes around the windows.
  4. I myself have learned with working on other peoples problems that it sucks. I am by far not a mechanic but good under the hood until 2006ish cars. I got great advice from a mechanic who got carpal tunnel for doing it for years. He said "if you like working on other peoples problems, then be a mechanic". If that is something you wish to do, don't let the advice I was given to deter you from doing such. I work at a dealer and deal with techs all the time and listen to the crap they have to go through with peoples cars and what not and some stories are puzzles and mysteries. But it is great learning experience for if and when you need to work on your own cars.
  5. HAHAHA yes! Ok so if yall are skeptical about SEM products, let me tell you this. The plastic vent covers that are on the B-pillar outside on my truck, those I painted with SEM landau black and the sun has yet to fade the color away nor has washing them done anything nor has the paint chipped! I like SEM wayyyy better than rustoleum.
  6. Lol she tells me she does not want my truck to be cursed and kill her. Now the T-bird on the other hand needs a name.
  7. Absolutely love that film. Love the fury too. I saw one off the side of the free way in WA in what was a junkyard and I wanted it but the GF said no and she said no to naming my truck Christine.
  8. Plenty more to come! Took that photo the day the decals got put on.
  9. Probably my favorite.
  10. The tailgate liner was an optional piece from the dealer or special order from the factory.
  11. Looks like I will be getting a vintage Leer topper soon. Also found a Renix era style horn button in charcoal but it doesn't have the horn symbol so now Chunk and LR match. Its the little things. Other things to come in the future. Also need to get back at that T-bird. Maybe might go over there this weekend for a day.
  12. AMC was probably the only automotive manufacture to offer sportbars as an accessory. I could be wrong on that but I don't care too much to look at the history of the ranger and the S-trucks. Needless to say they are really cool.
  13. T-bird land yacht is on the way!
  14. You know what. I bet if we all got a good look at a bare bench with the head rest holders, I bet we could easily add them.
  15. I looked for NOS and only snagged one. There was one of each side at the time and a NY dealer was being a putz and wouldn’t sell it to me and someone bought it. So NOS is probably gonna be few and far between on that little piece as you have to compete with XJ owners as well.
  16. You know what. If the headlamp switch doesn’t show any issues I would check the gauges in the cluster.
  17. Late 90-92 MJs had these seats.
  18. Yeah it took me a couple rereads and looks at the pic too. Not alone on that.
  19. My MJ has the lower ones and it was just a very base Pioneer truck till I was perusing the parts catalog and stumbled upon the uppers. I like to think of the upper chrome pieces as cuff links.
  20. Are you saying you turned off your headlights with the fogs on? If so that’s completely normal. Nevermind i see it now. Yeah that’s probably not a good sigh and that you might need to start digging.
  21. No problem. Be sure to take the build sheet with a grain of salt as codes were reused as time went on.
  22. Lol generally online and able to get codes till about 10ish. Anything after is on my phone.
  23. What? I no life on here, I got it. Lol.
