  1. Okie dokie. If Eagle_SX/4 can’t locate his 135, I’ll be interested in the 171. I am interested in the cover though.
  2. Sounds good!
  3. Sure! I’ll compromise on a 135. My 141/171 hybrid needs to be repaired as the heat has slowly killed some components.
  4. Tilt intermittent wiper switch
  5. Yikes! That may be a separate issue. But caster also affects that too. I learned that one recently.
  6. Wow. A legible door sticker.
  7. When you say center do you mean after a turn it doesn’t return or you replaced a component and the wheel is no longer centered?
  8. Yup! All the way to the HVAC control.
  9. Yup! That’s what I’ve been doing to no illeffect. That line goes all the way up to the HVAC controls. If you can get your hand and that line up there and get the old line out of the harness connector, more power to you.
  10. Actually at one point in time they were small rubber flexible lines. What I’ve done is just find a vacuum line that slips on to the failing line to further protect it without pulling the dash out. That way I have something that’s easily replaceable in the future if the hose ever dries out.
  11. I have a Jeep/Eagle book of hardware and what the part numbers translate to in better detail.
  12. Fun fact, carb 2.5Ls and TBI 2.5Ls use the same camshaft. I have heard though that Chinese made parts are really skipping on the whole alignment thing for timing. I know you’re saying the timing lines up but perhaps a pic of the two timing dots on the cam gear and crank gear to verify? Pics do go a long way for helping.
  13. Do your distributor have the hold down bracket?
  14. Pete might know better than any of the other admins. Maybe Eagle might as well. I can’t imagine it’s hard to get a forum started though.
  15. Typically the 4wd cable is a little longer than 2wd. Otherwise there’s not much of a difference.
  16. Holy moly that’s beautiful!
  17. I have some good news! I got all the lines routed. Except one. Its for the Sole-vac. Once I get that the Eagle will be ready to fly. I took it for a drive, runs and drives better. Fixed the stalling issue it would have when turning or backing out, I knew that was gonna be vac related when the seller told me about that issue.
  18. XJ will be your friend. They share the same parts. Though those part numbers look right. If you cant find the valves, put a "J" in front of the part number.
  19. Wow….never seen such lack of care for removing the fuel lines from a TBI. That could’ve been scary.
  20. Ok I’m getting there. Almost done with the vacuum lines. As it stands the previous owners deleted the emissions from the exhaust. Ok no big deal I’ll just work around that. I doubt they will look for what’s missing. They looked for what was an open port when I took chunk through with the TBI. so I’ve got two open lines left. One for the sole vac which I need to get new and the other will probably go to an open port on the manifold. Is it correct? Maybe? Some of it still doesn’t make much sense. It all mostly looks factory and like it has accumulated 40 years of dust and grime but it could also be recent too. I need a good stock 86 to look at. But I’m getting there! Hopefully a drive will tell me it’s all good to go.
  21. All bumpers from 86-92 are the same. Physically. cosmetically they changed but not much. Chrysler did away with the license plate lamp bezels around 89 maybe 90.
  22. Wait. So you’ll set it where it needs to be, recheck it and find it off? Does it run when you find it off?
  23. Sadly they do visual inspections to to make sure we’re not “defeating” the system. I know cause I had a couple plugged lines on Chunk and they failed me because of that. Now if I moved to Prescott that wouldn’t be an issue at all for me.
  24. Usually is a bad ground and power wires. I cleaned the hell out of all of mine and I get accurate reading at my voltage gauge.
  25. Oh and I know we all want more pictures and to see what we got, I’m hanging on until we get everything officially ours. Probably will do a video of it too. But honestly, this car is mostly stock with a couple questionable things that I will dive into.
