  1. Cool, I'll reach out to ya.
  2. I would definitely take you up on that. I got the parts but never done gears and not trying to learn at this point. Your phone number still the same?
  3. Sent you a DM
  4. Building my axles for my WJ and need someone to burn in the trusses, new inner Cs and do the gears. Anyone got recommendations on either a shop or person?
  5. Most new Jeep people (JK owners) like to eat snickers with the veiny part down......I'm fine being excluded from that club. And f their ducks.
  6. This sub https://www.crutchfield.com/S-awUA6E5PNMf/p_20650CWD8/Kicker-50CWCD84.html?XVINQ=GLX&XVVer=1IVK&awcr=696769514804&awdv=c&awnw=g&awug=9214252&awkw=pla-2295831283839&awmt=&awat=pla&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=18589654026&gclid=Cj0KCQjw9obIBhCAARIsAGHm1mS7MflYYzfSy8LI73Y0ak_FFyFsAMFp2HDnviPtf2cXjqlFmSbfs-IaApBsEALw_wcB This amp https://soundstream.com/collections/5-channel-amplifiers/products/pn5-640d
  7. I put in a Kenwood Excelon KMM 705 deck, kicker speakers all around, kicker 8" sub behind the center console powered by a 5 ch amp. I really need to put sound deadener but does well. 8" sub is decent but there are times I wish I had more bass. Depends on what I'm listening too though. Hip hop or big bass it doesn't like but with the rock/metal/punk does perfect. Especially if I'm listening to something with blistering fast bass, double bass kick, bass solos, etc sounds great and tight.
  8. Ironrock offroad is solid for kits and the price, I run their 3" on my WJ and have had a bunch of their parts over the years. Rubicon express might still be around for XJ/MJ. I personally would piece a lift together. Coils look at BDS or metal cloak, shocks, bili or fox, trackbar either IRO or Ironman, control arms, core, trailforged, iro or any others that use decent joints and bushings. Rear leafs are limited but at 3" should be able to get away with shackles or AAL.
  9. Well sold this. Not upset, needed to thin down the jeep herd and get more funds for the WJ. Need to say it out loud, but "I will not buy another jeep till I finish the one I'm working on." Feel like a kid asking mom for new cereal because there's a new toy.....
  10. Welcome, nice trick! Post a pic of the pumpkin. Could be a ZJ conversion.
  11. 91-95 or 98 and 99
  12. Guilty......
  13. Good wire is expensive but install kits are a money maker, hence why they are expensive. Low R&D cost big mark up. Sell speakers and amps cheap up charge the install. Unless you're doing a competition system or a huge audiophile head some of the things get to be a waste IMHO. I used these guys after a few recommendations for speakers wire and install stuff. Good price great product. https://www.knukonceptz.com/product/kolossus-complete-4-gauge-4-channel-amplifier-installation-kit/
  14. In my MJ I have kenwood excellon BT deck, 5 ch amp 8" sub and kicker speakers. Sounds good for what I want. Desperately need to sound deaden it. This amp, https://soundstream.com/products/pn5-640d Speakers front, 6.5 rears but same series. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_20646CC54/Kicker-46CSC54.html

  16. Been busy with summer stuff so haven't done a lot. Slow work but got lots to learn. Been grinding the housing for the jana kit. I'll be having some else do the gears but figured I can at least grind the housing. There's three main parts to grind. The opening needs two small notches to fit the ring gear in, it's tight. Then have to grind the pinon bearning area for the special bearing that has a step to allow the new pinion depth. Lastly, have to grind around the bearing for the slinger. New slinger has a slight concave so have to grind some more to allow it to spin freely. Still got a ways to go.
  17. 2.5 2wd isn't desirable so at that price you'll be waiting especially if you aren't in a populous area. Probably closer to 3-4 IMHO
  18. Just checked this out and realized it's my old co worker.
  19. Dig it, first Jeep I had was a 75 CJ7 my dad and I built.
  20. Got the other inner C out today. Worked on the rear some more and cleaned it up and tacked the backtruss on to look at some fitment things. Pulled out the dana 50 ring. Will start working g on getting that fitted here soon.
  21. More little things. Barely tacked the front truss together to work on fitment. Needs some small tweaks but its just about done cutting and fitting. I was working on the other inner C but broke my BFH. Last prep part after the C and truss will be the pinion bearning. Need to make it slighty bigger for the jana54 bearings.
  22. Got one of the Cs off and tested fitted the new one. Still need to get the other off and grind the housing for the Jana54 kit. Then front will at least be prepped. Rear is cleaned up and ready. Will work on fitting the truss and test fit the brakes, etc then more waiting.
  23. Solved! Kind of, found out Currie has blank explorer rotors drilled to the bolt pattern so now all pretty. Will keep the redrilled rotors as back ups.
