Have they replaced the hosts on the show from the first few episodes??? Those two were nearly unwatchable...

Whoa..... You did make sure that you protected your wiring from fan voltage backfeeding into whatever switch you used?? I did the same thing your pictures look like they show on an old XJ... The fan kicked in on its own and fried the switch and wiring in the cab. Lots of really awful smelling smoke is how I was rewarded. I redid it like the link ParadiseMJ posted... works great...

Bobert... pm macgyvr on NAXJA and ask him about the experience with his father's 4.7. It is eye-opening.... It made me drop anything 4.7 powered off my 'look at' list.

x2 More FSJ in one place than should be allowed by law.. Just note.. The board culture is much like this one.. Don't bring drama.. don't act like a douche..

I towed my XJ quite a bit with my 5.0l.... its not the motor.. the gearing sucks in a factory set-up. 3.08's or 3.55's are normally the stock gears. With the towing package it may have gotten 3.73's. Even that jump makes a huge improvement over the other two. You want to define suck... try towing with 2.72's... That's bleh covered in bleh..

Bobert... couldn't possibly find a bigger picture???? Pat... that girl made me laugh so hard.... Marie was getting pissed at the table.... Actually I do need some stuff. some plugs and stuff... If someone has a crapped set of factory ZJ fogs... I am looking for the plugs off of them.

Careful using aggregate stone like that... You get it hot enough, and it will start to pop and throw super sharp rock fragments everywhere. Rob Yup... especially after any kind of prolonged moisture in the air. Concrete remains porous unless it has been sealed, those little pores allows water to soak in. When the chunks heat up.. unless that water can escape back out those pores as it rapidly expands... you get explosions... I blew up a smelting furnace by getting into a huge hurry and not properly curing my home made firestop.

Matt.. in person really seems like a decent guy. He is one of the muckety-mucks in Down and Dirty Offroad club in Chicago.

That's to simplify their inventory for service departments. They don't want to carry the correct fluid for two transmissions that haven't been used in years. Don't both Amsoil and Redline offer gear oils that don't have sulpher compounds? Yes... Redline MTL and MT-90 or Amsoil MTG are all intended for transmissions that contain yellow metal parts.

Even BETTER discount at 4WD Hardware
whowey replied to COMANCHEROB4WD's topic in Vendors- members making products for MJs
Will be able to use on the internet site? Or only on in-person or phone orders?? I don't know if the club I referenced ever got the issues straightened out. I stopped being a member of it. -

Have they addressed the other issues with the club program?? When 4wd was first brought this program out, there were problems getting the promised stuff out to the clubs. -

from his description... his 'chip' is really a plastic container with a couple resistors soldering in it??? -
I eat leftovers about 70% of the time.. whatever I had for supper the night before is lunch the next day. Meatloaf makes an EXCELLENT sandwich...

The millions of XJ's would share the front hitch. It's a supply and demand thing. The handful of MJ's built compared to the handful left alive at this point.

Take some deep breaths... you need to stay calm. Everyone else can be freaking the heck out... And don't worry about the kid being a bit early. With your wife having been pregnant twice before, stuff doesn't return to its beginning status anymore. My twins were born at 24 weeks, 3 days. Yes... three months early. Once the kid comes... first... its okay if the kid cries for a bit. It isn't going to kill them to howl... Second... when you feel yourself getting frustrated and cranky with the newborn baby. Remember number one.... its okay if the kid cries for a bit while you get yourself something to drink. At first nothing you do will be done right... that's fine. Don't get pissed over it. Your a guy... killing spiders, working on broken stuff and making a mess is a perfectly fine amount of things to do well. You will never be the baby's mother. Accept that now.

I am SOOOOO going on the retrieval mission for that one...

Leave it in your yard... your new neighbors will alleviate your problem. And having actually been in the JY with Rob.. I know two truths. He is cheap... But he won't leave behind any usable MJ specific parts... He considers it leaving the same thing as leaving a man behind... Ohh... and Angela is VERY understanding of his issue.

Spent half the day swearing at the freight billing system at work today.. because I was entering '11 on it.. making it not recognize anything I was trying to do.

My wife can't find her own way out of a potato sack. The kids and her got me a Garmin Nuvi 1350T for Christmas last year. She uses it more than me.... She loves that it shows turn by turn and lets her know as a turn is coming up unlike the Tom-Tom she used to have. Yes.. the recalculating message can be annoying. You have said in the past your wife is from South America(I can't recall the country). The Nuvi has 2 Spanish dialects and 3 Portuguese dialects on it. That alone might make it easier for her.

Two quick questions.... how far south are you?? and what kind of fuel is he running?? The smog pump injects air into the exhaust stream ahead of or at the cat to help burn up unused hydrocarbons. The HC burning process can cause the NOx levels to be crazy... Here is a quick article I found that explains some ideas better than I can. http://www.nichols.nu/tip766.htm Its related to Porche... but smog is smog... One thing to note.. that injected systems always run a tad leaner than carbed ones. BTW.. Holley made the TB units on at least some of the magnum V-8's. My ZJ has one.
