  1. Fixed it for you....
  2. Its five dollars here. When the village police visited me over that, I asked would they prefer I bring all the stray cats to village hall alive or dead?? If they want me to liscense my dog, then they need to control the stray cat colony down the alley from me. They said they didn't want the cats.. I told them I didn't think I should pay the fee until they kept their end of the bargain. Needless to say, I didn't pay the 5 bucks. The cats are still there. Albeit with more BBs in their rumps.
  3. We have our Boxer in a 3x5 crate. He knows that is his place in the house. When we are getting ready to serve dinner at night, a quick tap on top and saying 'kennel' and he runs in. One thing to note with puppies.. if they are having a hard time sleeping at night. Take an old fashioned ticking clock, wrap it in a blanket you don't want back and put it in the kennel. the rhythmic noise helps them sleep. If that doesn't quite do the trick, you can add a heat source to it. A water bottle works well, but have fun trying to find one these days.
  4. LKQ south bend would get around $40 a set. Depends on the grade. The market sets the prices though...
  5. It could be a custom... with the 1 vin.
  6. How bad are prices getting?? Last I looked they were getting around $500 for even rack grades and the entire having to join a CMP affiliated club nonsense involved.
  7. An Arisaka Type 99 really isn't that rare if you really want one. Even finding a full crysanthemum rifle isn't all that hard if you really want one. It won't have the family sentinment attached to it. but its an idea if you want one.
  8. I want to see the RV behind that thing...
  9. Had one of each. Fended tops rotted out of the Concord. I taped them up, shot some paint on them and sold it to another high schooler. The Hornet wagon I had was a 304 equipped one. Yellow and black.. looked like a hornet. The unibody rusted in half on me. I wish I had kept that hood ornament.
  10. I'd trade one of my kids straight up for that thing!!!
  11. Sam, love the carbine and all those little spots of wear on it. I'm a junkie for old military stuff, I'd rather have an old dinged up M1 or carbine than some new super zoot AR..
  12. My MJ was bought as part of the AMC armed services program and delivered to the OO in England. He had it brought back to the states at the end of his tour there. I have no idea if that was allowed, or if he knew someone who knew someone who knew someone.
  13. For me.. it depends on whether time or money is more important. Napa is pretty good. There is a guy who knows to just go dig up what I ask for and not what the computer tells him. He will always get everything out of the box and we make sure its all correct. BUT... they are still 10-15% over what O'Reillys charges. O'Reillys is about 15 miles away.. and their prices are always the lowest over very, very close. You just have to push the employees to listen rather than puke back what the computer says. But they sell alot of foreign parts. Autozone.. I don't go in there anymore. After the counter monkey wanted to argue about whether my XJ had coil or leaf rear springs.. then proceed to tell me they don't sell spring eye bushings.. when my wife found them on the shelf while I argued with the idiot.
  14. this.... An example. I don't care about events in the areas where I don't live or am not traveling... So I like to keep those areas marked as read, and then when I hit new posts... I don't see the same stuff over and over again.

  16. If you were close to Jim... your sig would have been two pages by now.
  17. I will have to see... the wife's new job has gotten to be a headache with their scheduling.

    CRACKERS!!!

Those things are damn addicting.. and the honey mustard pretzel pieces are great also... Being married to a Dollar General manager cannot be good for my sodium intake....
  19. I've done FSJ, ZJ, XJ, MJ Gawd... I need to get rid of some Jeeps.
  20. If I am here.. I will be there.
  21. The correct name is Ugly As Sin.... But they did come on Renix era Jeeps. Being from the AMC era, they were available when anyone checked the :ack: or the :barf: box on the order form.
  22. One of the things Rob and I learned... take things to the check out in the largest pieces possible.. And the other is go in when all of the folks that scarf wheels are clogging the check out.
  23. Champion Labs makes their filters. Champion is HUGE private label filter maker. Don't spend the extra money on some purple tin. Get a Napa Gold or a Purolater One and call it a day.
  24. For the Peugot.... gear lube 75w90 is fine. You don't want too thick of a fluid. It will effect cold weather shifting. I know that Chrysler now recommends motor oil and a shorter OCL in the AX transmissions. The main driver for that was the desire to no longer carry the correct GL-1/2/3/4 fluids in their service centers. GL-5 is the current 'standard' spec for gear lubes. But like Marcel wrote, it contains too much sulfur in it for the yellow metal parts in the transmissions. But both Amsoil and Redline do still manufacture GL-4 lubricants specifically intended for transmissions needing gear lube.
  25. 4wd and Q-tec both have a cowl induction hood for sale. Last I looked at them they were around $500. You could make some 1 inch spacers for the back of the hood and its really not that big of a space at the back of the hood.
