Well.. lets start with the fact that the E15 requirement was already dropped for FY12... So its not happening for now. Victory for oil companies.... There hasn't been natural rubber in fuel system components in US made vehicles since the early 80's, so there is another myth perpetrated by oil companies. fuel mileage... yes, if you are running straight gas.. then you will see a reduction, but not 22%.. Think 3-4%.. I would love to see a reliable source stating 22% on E15. The system will run cooler.. not hotter. Ethanol has a lower amount of BTU's in it compared to dino gas, hence the reason you will get worse fuel mileage. The converse to that is that it burns cooler. Where is the water going to come from?? Ethanol isn't some magic chemical that water just jumps from space to get to.. Ever run a bottle of HEET in a car??? Take a look at the first ingredient... guess what.. its alcohol. After that, you kind of tail off into non-sense, so its hard to understand what exactly you mean.

1. I run Amsoil... for obvious reasons. Syncromesh isn't hurting the trans.. and you admit its cleaning out the crap. Keep going. 2. If you use good lube in the first place no need for junk. The stabilizer is nothing more than a viscosity modifier. If you really want to have thicker lube... just run a heavier viscosity. When you are spinning the little crank... watch all the air get entrained in the lube doctored with Lucas. You do not want a bunch of air in the lube, this creates pockets where the air displaces the lubricant leaving you metal on metal contact. There was a good test of it on Bob.. but it appears to be gone now. You already had issues with shifting while the tranny was full of thick gunk. Why would you want to refill it with clean lube, then thicken the lube?? 3. It could be flushed, but it really sounds like you are getting there on your own. I wouldn't waste the time, money and effort. 4. Do not increase the lube level. You can increase the internal pressure and blow out seals. As the lube expands(which all lube does as it heats) it needs somewhere to go, if the tranny is completely full... where is it going to go??

We see the interlocks here quite a bit. The normal stunt is to get someone who is not drinking to blow into it so the dumbass can get their car started.

Marcel... anything GL-5 rated is going to be high sulfur content gear lube. You are looking for oils that are GL-4 compliant, but not GL-5 Amsoil Manual Transmission/ Transaxle MTG or Redline MT-90 or MTL are all gear lubes that meet the GL-4 but no GL-5 tag.

Sorry... with a bench and a manual... there is no good way to mount a rear facing seat in a Manche. Unless you make the wife ride in the middle.. and stick Jr. in the passenger seat. With buckets.. there isn't a way to put one in that will keep the police(or yourself once you think about your kid instead of the Jeep) happy. Of course Momma rides in the middle too much and you end up in my situation... Mini-van city.
