    Whats in your cab

Whats in your cab that you find useful? I'll start I have a towel because it is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have. actually it is really useful and you never know when you will need one.

  7. Ahh it looks super happy
  8. ah i was trying to see if we could beat eaglescouts 2.5 thread
  9. it might be easier if you get the top loose then the bottom
  10. one side of the right side one should stick out a little bit, thats where the lock is.
  11. we want the right side
  12. that sucks but they are 30 year old plastic, and when you put it back together use a zip-tie to hold em together
  13. yep you did it correctly next one will be a little more difficult, the measurement we want is from the other side of that connector to the steering column so pin c or third one down/ gray wire to the long connector on the right side of the column. the wire should be gray on one side and yellow on the other of this connector, third one in. dvom connections: black to the connector behind the taillight red to the long connector on the column set to ohms.
  14. if i confuse you let me know, a lot of times it straight in my head but not on the screen
  15. ok now we get to the fun part behind the taillamp there should be a connector this connector should have 7 wires, we only want to focus on the gray wire right now, you will want to disconnect that connector once its disconnected put the meter to ohms, the black lead onto the gray wire at the taillight and the red onto pin c or the third one in the row of 4, if you look on the back side you should see the gray wire. we want to test the wire from the connector to the taillight
  16. sorry brown wire on pass. side
  17. key on? ok check the other side with the turn signal turned to the right side
  18. some pictures would be helpful as there are a lot of options for transmissions
  19. ok black lead on the ground, red on the gray wire with the turn signal on and key on, should have voltage.
  20. on both sides or just one?
  21. Ok with the meter set to voltage, black lead on ground, red lead on the blue wire what does the meter say, now do it again with the headlights on.
  22. Yep that was my thinking
