Yeah in Colorado it requires a Vin inspection done by the state patrol

The problem with the manuals is that the clutch master cylinder is right above the box, when it leaks it leaks on the box and it eats away at the box. I would start by checking for power at the fuses. Running lights come on with any lights not just the brights

Swap the blinker relays in the fuse box, the horns sounds like the horns are disconnected or bad they are located on the underside of the fenders behind the rubber flaps. Running lights could be a bad headlight switch. The turn signals and running lights could also be a fuse box issue if this is a manual truck

The heater switch,if possible you can call the end on the firewall and delete the heater hose piece

Ok, I'd start with disconnecting the positive side and ohm the wire from the battery terminal to the starter relay

Headlights work? If so it's either a bad key switch or a bad fuse link near the battery

The easiest solution would be to find a renix jeep and get the harness/tcu 9 more posts would get you access to the classifieds and I believe someone just posted what you need. You can start a build thread and add your Vin to the registry to get a build sheet and original selling dealer
