A man and his wife were getting a divorce at a local court, but the custody of their children posed a problem. The mother jumped to her feet and protested to the judge that since she had brought the children into this world, she should retain custody of them. The man also wanted custody of his children, so the judge asked for his side of the story. After a long moment of silence, the man rose from his chair and replied: "Judge, when I put a dollar into a vending machine and a Pepsi comes out, does the Pepsi belong to me or to the machine?" ....He Won....

  14. I showed both of my boys how to drive a stick by counting. 1.2.3. from the time the clutch pedal left the floor to all the way released for starting. and counting 1.2. for switching gears. you also do not need to push the clutch all the way to the floor while switching gears, just a little past the friction point will work. have some one who knows how to drive a stick drive it for you while you listen to the sound of the motor. then try to match the sound while you drive. After doing the empty parking lot practice of starting and stoping in a strait line. practice the starting and stopping while doing sharp turns. :smart:

  18. Now we just need some one to try this redneck style on a MJ. any one want to nominate some one they think could pull it off? :fool:
  19. Yes it can make a air leak. It could be acting like a check valve with pleasure holding the crack closed on the in side and letting air in when the pressure is released. do you see in seepage of brake fluid around the crack? :???:
  20. :agree:
  21. :typing: sound like a bad case of gas. Did you ask the place if they had any other customer complain about problems. I got a tank of gas one time that came with a gallon of water. Lucky for me I was just able to pull the fuel line off at the carb and let the 1972 vw bug pump its self clean. the Nambour was not so lucky and had to sue to get her car fixed. :wall: they settled out of court when the news media got wind of it and found a bunch of people had the same problem all over town
  22. :needpics:
  23. :agree: How did you hold the crank while tighten the bolts down? when I put the flywheel on my 86 XJ I jammed a very big flat tip screw drive between the flywheel and the engine stand.
