  10. one way is get a very long extension and universal joint. or you could do what I did.

  13. :cheers: welcome to the Comanche madness. If you can get it on a lift it is a half day job with power tools. but with jack stand and hand tools it is one or more days of work. and of course with any job there is the run to the parts store at least one or more times. :doh:

  15. :hmm: :dunno: look for a vacuum leak. I am guessing since you had your heat on when it happened and since the heat is vacuum controled it may be a good place to start looking for the problem

  19. :typing: in my 1986 XJ I have a Rochester Monojet (1MV) Carburetor on top of a 3.4L chevy motor. It is a very simple and easy carb to work on and I get the same MPG as I did with the old stock one.
