one way is get a very long extension and universal joint. or you could do what I did.

:hmm: :dunno: look for a vacuum leak. I am guessing since you had your heat on when it happened and since the heat is vacuum controled it may be a good place to start looking for the problem

:typing: in my 1986 XJ I have a Rochester Monojet (1MV) Carburetor on top of a 3.4L chevy motor. It is a very simple and easy carb to work on and I get the same MPG as I did with the old stock one.
