  1. That’s alright, I’ll have take a stab at doing a write up when I get around to doing the doors.
  2. I like the way you think. You have an idea for future plans and taking one step at a time. My project has pretty much all become future plans because everything is always $$$. Keep up the good work.
  3. You do some nice work there. What kind plans do you have for this project?
  4. Link doesn’t work anymore
  5. Thank you for the referral sir. I have stumbled upon their site at some point in time, now that I think about it, but I didn’t bookmark it like I should’ve.
  6. I wish you still made these. I like poly mounts.
  7. The faint humming noise, I would assume is the fuel pump priming up. If it’s not making a sound anymore try a fuel pressure test again. On another note, when I did my engine swap I took everything out and plugged back in the way it was from the donor and it wouldn’t stay started for a couple days. Also from personal experience, make sure the MAP sensor is plugged in.
  8. Well, I guess I must’ve decided to worry about spark plugs later when I did the H.O. swap and forgot to do so. I’m surprised it was running at all however, I did do an ignition tune up today and it’s running great.
  9. If all else fails, has your throttle body been cleaned recently and if so, was the idle air control port cleaned. I can’t really remember how the throttle body is setup on the remix.
  10. Thanks Ohm, I was planning on doing an ignition tune up tomorrow so I will see what I find.
  11. Recently, my MJ has been having sputtering problems around 3300 rpm. I noticed it when getting on the highway the other day and was wondering if anybody has any input.
  12. Sweetness
  13. I apologize Swampy I misspelled your name earlier.
  14. Thanks all, I may have to start piecing together a temporary lift. I say temporary, because I’ll be doing the super duty axle swap and will have to change whatever steering changes are made for the lift now versus after. That, and spending thrifty now means money saved for better and newer parts later.
  15. Swamp, is yours SWB or LWB?
  16. Thanks Pete, I appreciate your input.
  17. So if I read this correctly. I can SOA the rear up to 7” without changing the driveline? Or would I maybe need a longer slip yoke? My truck doesn’t see much off-road use at this current time.
  18. How much could one lift a Comanche without needing a SYE or lengthening the rear driveshaft?
  19. Thanks for the input. Right now it’s still a rough idea and things will probably change. I will be working on getting the axles cleaned up soon and go from there. I’m pretty sure on getting the artec truss for the 60, after that I will have to do some measuring and eyeballing.
  20. Spring over rear, cav fab alpha 4 link, metal cloak or rock Krawler coils, and maybe fox shocks at first.
  21. Do you have any salvage yards nearby? I bet the hardware wouldn’t cost much, especially if you could pull it yourself. I will have to check to see what condition mine is on the parts cherokee tomorrow and see if it’s any good. The whole underside of it looks like the previous owner parked it in the ocean.
  22. Thanks for the replies. I will check out the links. I’ve been thinking about the artec truss up front. Still contemplating lift height. Maybe 6-6.5” and 35-37s Ish? When I get the ball rolling I will definitely start a build thread.
  23. Depending on how long that fuel has been sitting in the tank you may want to siphon out as much as possible before adding more fuel.
