  1. I took good used ones off a 99 XJ 4 door that I parted out. If you're looking to replace the original that's fine. For reducing wind noise, there's another fix or 2.

  3. Ever look inside a C101? Vinegar isn't touching that stuff.
  4. I'll bet this starter is soaked in engine oil from a leak up above.

  6. MJ bucket and bench seat brackets are different.
  7. Tips 1,3,4, and 5 when you get a chance. 18 and 29 also, as 29 improves the rear lighting ground also.
  8. I checked it by way of driving, and all is normal lol. But no, I didn't measure resistance. I will to appease curious minds, though. Meh, I'm sure the solenoids require a certain amount of juice to operate.

  12. Look on the side of the trans and see if there's a deadended 2 wire connector, which if it were about a foot longer would plug into the switch on the transfer case.

  14. Nope. 4.0 is AMC bell housing and 5.2 is Chrysler.

  18. NEVER trust it as a parking brake!! One of my employees did and a medium duty flatbed tow truck of mine went down the hill and into a house as a result.
  19. That first number is not an AMC number. The second one is.
  20. 95 ish for cams, all the way from 87. And, the head is no big deal anyway.
  21. All Renix 4 and 6 cylinders have the same CPS connector.

  24. But, if the white TCC switch up by the brake pedal is misadjusted, the converter will never lock up.
