  1. awesome. you have one of the last MJs ever produced.
  2. whats the build date on the driver side door?
  3. i like the original the best.
  4. i always found stickers to improve my horsepower. some say 5hp, some say 10hp, some will even be bold enough to claim 15hp. i have dyno'd my jeep with exactly 2 stickers on it (one NOS, and one Summit Racing) and noticed a 7.6 hp gain. both stickers were free.
  5. i just went and got hitch receiver tubing from tractor supply.
  6. x1000 with integrated tail light boxes if possible. i would let him have my truck to model them :D
  7. i will be there like always.
  8. well, that is wrong. Like Adam said, RK makes one. plus that one is 3 or 4 link. far better than y-links as well. but I'm with Rob on the BDS kit as well. the only thing i don't like about it is the lack of flex joints in the lower arms.
  9. ya think? i was going to make the next ones thinner.
  10. yeah they did do the job. luckily it didnt smash into the rocker.
  11. great time again. i counted 71 rigs during the group shot on saturday. not all where there either. met up with some old friends and made new ones. lots and lots of damage to be found as well. weather wasnt the best but it really didnt matter. it was my GF's first time wheeling and camping and she had a great time. damage list: blown tail light lense bent tie rod bent rock rail bead leak on one tire minor dents/dings in the bed here are my pics and vids me making Axle Breaker friday (don't mind Hal falling hahahaha) me not making Axle breaker saturday (rained all night long and all day saturday so it was super wet) me making the rock face on red trail me Kyle (Justclimbit) Jim (Young Yeller) Hal (77Jimmy) Jake (JakeWI) Kim (XJwoody) Straight rock rail bent rock rail Kim is such a poser XJ on its side Hi Jim
  12. last i heard, Colorado Red was the coolest color.
  13. if you want an RTI ramp champ then i could maybe see why you would switch to links in the back. for me, i could never outweigh the benefits to the cost to linking the back of my truck. maybe it depends on what region you are wheeling, but in the midwest, i don't have any complaints. you also have to do some engineering to get it to work properly. i have seen a LOT of homebuilt link setups work like garbage.
  14. meh. i have seen/done worse.
  15. i had to get 6.5" coils as well. i went with Rustys. then made longarms and pretty much everything else...
  16. :rotf:
  17. Brent's MJ is on my top 3 favorite MJ list. i have seen it in person, and it is VERY nice. i wouldnt mind seeing it everyday in my garage.
  18. got my disc brake swap almost done. it figures that i never checked out the wheel stud length, and with the swap to discs, i lost some threads so i have to switch out to longer studs. luckily i robbed a bunch last time out at the junkyard that will do the trick. but now i gotta rip everything back apart.
  19. :D calendar looks GREAT!
  20. they open and close using the outside door handle.
  21. nope. he has a weird accent.
  22. i run it for one reason and one reason only, so i could fit the solenoid box for my winch in place of the air box. otherwise, i would just be running a stock air box with K&N drop in.
