went down to Harlan Kentucky to join NAXJA for their annual Cherokee Crawl. Had an amazing time, the trails were awesome, and the people were even better. The way home wasnt fun, the trans let loose on the tow rig so we had to drive the MJ home 11 hours. anyways here are the pics...

first off, I am glad you are using the truck. second, i would have to agree in saying i don't think there could be enough wrap to cause a shaft to break like that. i have the same shocks with the same mounts. although i have wheel hop and wrap, my shocks have held up. i would think your wrap would have to be REALLY bad for it to cause that.

it was pretty thin to begin with, don't remember the thickness right now. but yeah, i landed hard on a concrete slab that was on an angle. so basically i landed on the corner of the slab.

no they are getting soft because i didnt do the best job the first time (1st time ever doing bodywork) so mud and debris made its way in there and rotted them out.

going to run it how it is for the year. my cab corners are starting to get soft, so plans are to cut out the rocker panels and weld in the new rock sliders. gain some clearance that way as well.
