No you can only feel a little movement when the tire is bing rocked back and forth there should be ZERO movement. this is the first place i would be investigating. check to make sure the bolt is the proper size and that the bushing sleeve is the proper size.

so you can physically move the control arm when its bolted in place?

a 44 out of a ford or FSJ will be an upgrade, but you will not be able to run 5x4.5 wheels unless you run an adapter.

the only axle that fits your criteria is a 44 out of a TJ rubicon. But really thats just a D44 diff with D30 outers. how "built" do you want this axle?

well if thats the case then yeah just go cheap on stuff thats going to be replaced. I went through 4 different lift combinations before i got to where i truly wanted to be. waste of money and time.

the trackbar brace is a good thing to have. i made my own so I can't comment on the quality of the Synergy stuff. they are a reputable brand, though. i'd consider adjustable control arms. are you going to stay at the same height when you upgrade to long arms?

i used one similar to the IRO ones. they worked well but i did hit them on occasion on the trail.

how much lift do you plan on running? that will dictate how much trimming you will need to do.

Got the fronts done. All in all they fit well. I prepped the frame and stiffeners with Eastwood weld thru primer. I tried a cheap off the shelf weld thru primer first. don't DO THIS. Created such a dirty weld. Ended up starting over basically because of it. Anyways here are some pics. I used a handheld torch to heat up the old under coating. Made it super easy to just scrape off. Invest in lots of c clamps. There are way more bends in the unibody then I anticipated.
