  1. i had another stock upper in which i took 2 pieces off. then cut each upper in half and welded in the piece. i did put another 1/2in piece of flat stock "inside" on each on too.
  2. welcome  can you post some pics of your longarms?

  5. no need to apologize, project88 i don't know if you noticed or not, but I'm only 19 years old. i was just joking around (i do that a lot). there arent any jerks on here like other boards so don't worry about getting flamed. :hijack: sorry jeepco :wavey:

  7. your best would be to buy a kit. i don't know of any other truck springs that would give a lift.
  8. what is sans? he means he wouldnt put a 3in lift without new lca's. i also recommend new lca's but i don't think you need new uppers. i lengthened mine and they've held up for 3+ years of dd'ing and moderated to hard wheeling.

  13. does it shake at all when driving down the road? cause my control arm bushings were bad and it would shake at around 40mph then go away at 50mph, and it would shake no matter what when braking.
  14. i would go a little bigger. get a 8000 or 9000lb. i got my Warn M8000 for free, but they can be had for around $5-600 new.
  15. why do you want a spare underneath if you have that nice rear bumper/tire carrier?
  16. ProComp 8179's
  17. i agree. it may fit, but i don't think it would hold very long.

I'm not very computer savvy when it comes to performance and all that. any help is appreciated
