  1. And the pedal assembly and I'm guessing the shifter bezels and whatnot too. As it said the whole swap
  2. Mmm interesting.... I just ask why?
  3. Because it doesn't seem like it will slide over the rubber handle
  4. I'm guessing the "drivers side sag" is a combination of the gas tank and a fat driver over many years just wearing the springs (both front and rear) slightly more over the last 25 years replace springs and I'm sure itd look fine
  5. is there a way to get the gate off without swapping the whole shifter?
  6. just curious about any custom addons or factory modifications people have done to their trucks. ive done a headlight relay harness. and converted to XJW header. the headlight harness is probably the single best light upgrade you could doIMO.
  7. That's the whole conversion price. Not terrible IMO
  8. 89 would have BA trans correct? You will still need to source a XJ AX15 cross member if I'm not mistaken
  9. I replaced with the euramtec lights. If you remove the trim ring from on the lights they fit perfectly inside the B pillar with zero modifications
  10. 1993 is the only year where a standard was available from the factory in a ZJ. And I don't think external slave was till 1995. So I'm guessing this is a custom install
  11. That's a pretty matched curve. Very nice for a no compromise upgrade
  12. Eh maybe its a lingering thought of tow trucks and dump trucks. Manuals always feel more competent then their auto equivalents. But as stated. They generally are designed for hauling. Rather then an option as with pickups/suvs
  13. I never quite understood the tow capacity difference from manual to automatic.....
  14. i guess by shape i meant the radius of the corner. obviously they don't have the neck down sections. but that also why i said theres no direct replacement. other then a sawzall and a parts truck
  15. I think I have a renix box in my parts truck if your close to western Massachusetts
  16. To my knowledge there is no direct replacements. But supposedly CJ/YJ corners are very close in shape and design minus the tail like cutouts.
  17. But those are different? The red jeep lugs mount flush with the rim. Those are the standard ones you see. The jeep version of the outlaw 2s. But that black one the lugs are recessed. Like as if a center cap went over them.
  18. They also make a custom gauge cluster that goes where the clock panel is. And one below the ash tray depending on your center console. http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=231549427979&alt=web http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=231516181595&alt=web
  19. What about getting an adapted flange of another style 4.0. For example. My 91MJ has it vertical facing down. But my 95XJ had it sideways facing back. And my 00TJ is sideways right on the block. All threads are the same. So you should be able to swap around from the junk yard
  20. pretty neat idea. so I'm assuming your also putting a gauge in to monitor temp if your putting a thermostat in, right? if so would it be possible for you to first bypass the cooler to see what initial temps are vs post cooler.
  21. I don't think ive ever seen rims like that.... I kinda like them, their like an outlaw 2 but then not really... wonder what they would look like with center caps
  22. XJW nose wired and installed too!
  23. FWIW if you decide to junkyard search it... most are manufacture date stamped on the back too. so try and find the youngest too.
  24. not sure how true or easy it is.... I herd you can swap the internals from new to old style. while keeping your shell. so youd swap the window, regulator and seals. id try a search around here for that. as another option.
