    Ferrari

If you watch any new limited-run Ferrari closely enough (ex: 575 Superamerica, Enzo, 16M, 599 GTO) , you'll see that Maranello pre-select the top clients in each market and offers the new car to them first, before any can be ordered at or allocated to a dealership. Since there's going to be only 400 or so LaFerraris built, I'm willing to bet every single one already has a person targeted by Italy and two backup targets for for each car built. With that said, there's some really cool features on this car and more active aero underneath than you can shake a stick at.
  2. So, the license plate lights on our Escape both went out within a week of each other a few weeks back and we replaced them with LED wedge bulbs, which produce a nice clear, crisp, white light with a very slight blue tint. As I am pleased with the light produced I want to replace the 194 wedge bulbs on my MJ's factory bumper with LEDs. As the bulbs used on the Escape are physically larger than the usual 2825 or whatever size bulb they take, I have concerns with similar bulbs fitting in the factory bumper of the MJ since the space is so limited... I don't want to smash the LEDs against the housing. Any thoughts on an LED bulb that has similar dimensions to and will work in place of a 194 wedge? Has anyone on here made a similar change to their plate bulbs? I could not find anything in the DIY or projects section on this, only for B-pillar lights [which I already have on the way].
  3. I looked in to getting our Escape's front doors tinted to match the rest of the factory tinted glass, and its going to run me about $120 for high quality tint.
  4. Yup, I already have his site bookmarked.
  5. Wait wait wait wait it was an O'Reilly clutch not Autozone that I picked up, sorry. Found the receipt for it and it was right at $136 +0% Oregon sales tax.
  6. Exactly what I ordered: http://www.amazon.co....05 Control Arm Looks like the price has gone up a few bucks for each since I picked mine up last year.
  7. It was from one of the Family Guy Star Wars crossover episodes.
  8. Hello bodukexj, and welcome.
  9. I too think it looks like an ARB bumper sans the winch and amber lights. With that said, it'd be nice to see non-winch bumper made in the ARB style... which I think is a great looking bumper. After all, not all of us want a winch or have trail rigs but like a nice solid bumper with guards that won't collapse when hitting a moth.
  10. I have an AZ clutch in my rig. It has worked just great for my daily driver use the past two years. I advise having your flywheel machined while you have everything apart.
  11. Cleaned the contacts for both B-pillar lights... now they work consistently!
  12. Why not just put a puck of same height on your front springs to even it out? I can't think of any suppliers of stock shackles or their bushings... may be a salvage yard item. Maybe someone else with greater resources can chime in?
  13. Installed a new headliner and put sound insulation above the headliner and behind the back board under the rear window.
  14. Headliner went in today, but had significant fitment issues in the rear corners. Still, 1000% better than before.
  15. My take on it. Image Not Found
  16. Remember the Rancor from Return of the Jedi? That.
  17. Is that an ATV rack?
  18. lol first thing I thought of when reading the thread title: Red Leader: "All wings report in." Red Ten: "Red Ten standing by." Red Seven: "Red Seven standing by." Biggs: "Red Three standing by." Wedge: "Red Two standing by." Captain Ramius: "Red October standing by" /carry on.
  19. Comprehensive. Just don't tell em you were off-roading like a crazy person. ;)
  20. Regardless of what mill is in it, that old Rolls is looks good.
  21. We are paying $108/month through Farmers for full/comprehensive coverage on our Escape, and liability/comprehensive on the Jeep. Both are mid-range coverage for collision and bodily injury. With that said, still please don't hit me and I will try to do the same for you. Especially if you drive an expensive car.
  22. I liked the dash mat I had in my old Volvo 240; it kept the glare down on the window and hid the cracks in the dash. I used sticky-backed velcro to keep it down and worked just fine.
  23. Amazon has OMIX XJ/MJ control arms with bushings for about $30/each. I picked mine up from there and they work like a charm.
  24. 9.500,00€? Ouch!
