    I know on a stock MJ the pipes are 2 1/4(2.25) all the way.

    How much lift will the 2" chevy drop shackles actually give me? Do they actually lift the leaves 2" or just 1" total?

    I ran into this problem a few weeks ago. The Mopar 090 filter will not thread onto the renix filter housing but is the correct filter for the H.O 4.0. Which filter did you end up buying?

    The wheels on the red XJ in my sig are the ones I'm using. They are Mickey Thompson baja wheels so I don't want stock rims. I also hate how the stock wheels stick inside the fender flares I think it looks dumb.

    Well the truck will be street driven only and I want to run my 31" wheels so that's why I am lifting it.

    Can I get away with using stock shocks in the front and rear with 2.5" lift front and 2" lift rear?

    The truck in the link looks horrible IMHO. I don't understand why he went through all that work and couldn't cut the bed right behind the shackles.

    Digging up an old thread here.. I just saw two MJs in the movie Dark Blue with Kurt Russel. They are both in the same scene, one parked in the street a blue SWB and then one grey LWB in a motel parking lot.

    What parts did you replace if any? I would replace the ignition switch on the column and the key tumbler and see what happens then.

    :hijack: Can you run 15" wheels with larger backspacing such as AR rims and 31x10.5 tires on a stock suspension with no rubbing on the lcas? Don't stock Jeep wheels have like 4.5" BS and most aftermarket wheels have 5.5" BS?

    When I removed my shackles the bolt was seized into the metal sleeve in the bushing, so I had to cut them out.

    I don't think you will be able to tell if it is broken unless you unbolt the axle from the leaves.

    I have the same problem with my XJ. I think it could be the centering pin for the leaves snapped.

    Anyone know what companies sell a true 2" coil spacer and not a 1.75?

    Rockauto was $115 with shipping, Ill check out JCwhitney. Everytime I buy brakes from advance they glaze over squeak and pulse the pedal. Thanks for the input guys.

    I need new rotors and pads and I don't want China made junk from advance auto parts. Has anyone bought the Bendix or Raybestos brand from Rockauto before?

    The 31s on the red XJ in my sig would rub in the front and bottom out in the back on the gold 94.

    I tried putting 31x10.5s on my 94 stock XJ and they wouldn't fit.
