  1. Thanks for all the help guys... I will most likely end up doing this myself with the rebuild kit. All my money is going into the body right now.
  2. Ok so I have googled this and found that I can rebuild them myself. I was wondering if anyone knew where to buy the O-ring kits and the fuel line clip/o-ring repair kit? Thanks
  3. Wow thats not good. So there is no way to make the fuel guage work ever again? A new fuel pump doesn't come with a sending unit? I guess I will need to pull one at a junk yard with is near impossible.
  4. So recently my gas guage has been acting like a speedometer. When I hit the gas it pegs all the way up and then all the way down at idle. So I figured it was a fuel sending unit. I can't seem to find any fuel sending unit... Is it built into the fuel pump?
  5. Where can I buy new rocker panels? I am putting my new bed on tomorrow and the whole truck wil be rust free except for the rockers. Thanks
  6. I am new to this... How exactly does an add a leaf work on a MJ? I can only see it pushing the axle further up towards the truck....
  7. I didnt plan on doing anything with my control arms seeing as how I am only going 3". I'm not concerned with ride quality, this is just a beater truck that has way too much rust to save.
  8. Thinking about doing this to my comanche. Has anyone ever used this kit before? http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=rustys&Product_Code=RK-300AL-MJ&Category_Code=sus_xj_kit
  9. My jeep has 3.55 gears... I am eliminating the cat because I don't need to have one in MA anymore. I am keeping it simple and just putting a strait pipe in to connect the header pipe to the muffler.
  10. Well hello everyone. I just purchased an 89 Comanche for my next project. It has the I6 with the auto tranny. My father is a member on this site and he also has an 89 Comanche that we restored together. My question is... will the motor loose most of its power due to running an open header? I drove it into work today so I could replace the brake lines on the lift and it had no power. Right now the pipe is broken clean off at the cat and I'm hoping that is why there was no power.
