  1. Just go to the junk yard and get one from an 88-90 XJ limited or or loredo to get full guages Your looking at pioneer guages which don't have the tach. You will also need the temp and oil pressure sendors for the engine.
  2. Bump, getting closer.
  3. They aren't an actual captains chair, I just used the generic slider portion of the rails from some captains chairs. They don't swivel or anything fancy.
  4. Master tech at a forklift and material handling equipment dealership. In my off time I operate SPEC Fabrication with my brother.
  5. Never understood why people take out the 4 link and install leaf springs, leafs can work well and they are fine in whatever they came In but going to them from coils seems like a step back to me. As far as being a 92, that's something that only matters to us. Typically a 92 doesn't sell for any more then any other year of MJ.
  6. This makes three so far in the NW, there are a lot of nice MJs out here.
  7. Its just stock YJ stuff with a lengthened drag link , I put it on temporarily till I could upgrade and haven't got around changing it.
  8. Yes there is a pump in the transfer case.
  9. Those look like old school closed knuckle LP D44s. You couldn't give me one of those.
  10. He also has great prices on gears
  11. I figured you would chime in, I got the 11771 number from one of your old posts.
  12. He might get half that if he fixes it.
  13. Here's a number for the seal. NOS (Napa Oil Seal) 11771
  14. If you eventually want one piece shafts just look for a non cad axle. The cad axle wasn't designed to have the one piece shafts in it so its not machined for a seal, because of that they can leak. Also the one piece passenger side axle tube IMO is stronger then the 3 piece tube on the cad axle and not having the cast cad housing makes it easier to add a truss if you ever decide to. If you had a cad axle and wanted to upgrade it then I would say go for it but if you are planning to swap axles you might as well get a better one in the process.
  15. 89 and up with 242 and ABS also had no CAD and bigger joints.
  16. You just plug the vacuum off at the t case. As far as ABS you simply don't hook it up, you can just pull it off or leave it there doesn't matter.
  17. The link just goes to a Matco page were they want you to "like" Matco to go any further. I'm not gonna "like" a company I don't do business with just to get into thier page.
  18. Most guys just buy the seal then either make a cover or gut the disco unit and bolt it back on.
  19. Just make sure you add the proper seal, I don't remember the seal # off the top of my head but someone will chime in with it.

  21. Those guys are insane. You could almost buy aftermarket chromoly shafts for that. You can get shafts from any 89 and up XJ with a 242 case and ABS, but to keep it simple all 95 and newer have them. Then just add a seal and your done. Or just pick up an entire axle and swap it in.
  22. Thank you. Here's an old pic of my MJ right after I got It. Probably the best $400 I ever spent.
  23. The housings are 3/16" plate that I shaped by hand, the lights are a Maxxima brand LED with built in back up lights. There's a few pics of how I built them on my build thread and I can get you a part # for the lights if you need it.
  24. A few guys were goofing off trying to park on it and someone who had heard about my MJ asked me to try. The MJ effortlessly drove right up.
