Home defense at its finest!!

https://youtu.be/lXh4Qhmt3xA I enjoy Hickok45 vids on YouTube. The man is very knowledgeable about all types of firearms. I’m sure if you own a firearm he’s done a review and shoot of the that weapon or a variant of it. I am also very envious of his backyard range!!

Right Pete. We measured them yesterday and they were roughly 34 in height. So does that make it a 35? Just asking because when I hear 31’s, 33, 35s is that a standard measurement or is say a 31 actually taller or shorter than actual measurement. Thanks Krusty as well!

My buddy has T315/70/ R17 tires on his JK. He’s had a small lift put on. The stance looks great. My question is he’s been told by separate ‘Jeep’ guys that the tires are 31’s and someone else said no 33s.

Thanks again! I was trying to do a mass search on Craigslist... no bueno...You would think they would offer that. Money game I suppose. 4-8 hours? That’s dedication bro for helping fellow members out. I’m sure you’ve helped plenty of members out without even realizing. Even if it’s something as simple as having someone be able to competitively price their Comanche in the marketplace.

Do you have power or manual steering? When you say ‘play’ are you referring to being able to turn the steering wheel a bit right or left before wheels engage? I was able to turn my steering wheel almost a 1/4 turn before my wheels followed suit. My steering gearbox was worn out.

One of my sway bar clip bolts snapped. I had it at the shop on the rack and had my buddy take a look. I believe it probably had a nut welded on the other side. Not sure if it will be able to be drilled out. What are my options here? The bolt is snapped off flush to the undercarriage and like I said I presume there is a nut welded on the other side. I am unable to determine though if this is the case since I’m unable to visually see the other side. Another guy mentioned you can remove the sway bar all together and just have a bit more’ body roll!’ I kinda find that not even plausible, and only if it was a temp fix to get home.. a pic of my dilemma! Thanks for any insight! You can see where clip should be on bar and it’s current positioning! 87 2wd 4spd

RIP Jim. Sorry as well to hear about his passing. Like NHMJXJ above stated, Jim was a major contributor to the club when I first joined. His comments were always witty and I know he was an avid collector of MJs! I remember last I heard he was wanting to sell some of them off and some members were going to take a trip out to his place. Rest easy Sir. It was enjoyable reading some of your comments to others dilemmas!

Thought the same thing HOrnbrod. A family here would be suing the local police dept. ‘Our son/ father/ brother wasnt even robbing the lady that shot him...’ It seems the criminal has all the rights today in our society while trampling over yours.

Watched the video again on YouTube. It stated she was an off duty cop and she shot him 3 times. Fantastic job.

Nice job!! So that comes with a fob like the newer cars with push start? So it has to be in the vicinity to start correct?

Not sure in what header to post under... feel free to move!! Working up at Ohare. Spotted this in Parking lot. This Comanche was in really great shape. Even the underside looked clean. Maybe a fellow members? Has Illinois plates( no way it spent its life here!!!) It also had a Missouri sticker on the windshield. Maybe not a big deal to most of ya... but Comanches are like unicorns riding Haley’s Comet around these parts

I apologize if I offended anyone sincerely. I’m old school so I do lack some PC. Not everyone gets a trophy. With that being said being a former Marine, ‘I may not agree with what you’re saying, but I will defend your right to say it’ So to answer your question... we’ve poured millions/ billions of dollars into countries that will turn around and spit in your face. That my friend is fact. Syria has become a proxy war, like Iraq, like Afghanistan, like Vietnam, like Korea. That’s why I strongly feel our politicians should have military service. Will Syria spin out of control? I don’t think so. I think we will have some type of military presence there and nothing more.

Thoughts on handgun safes
13 Legion replied to coolwind57's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Not to steal Keyav8r’s answer to this but... I carry as well. I live in Indiana but travel to work in Illinois ( non-reciprocal state) meaning they don’t recognize my carry permit. As long as I’m in my vehicle I’m good to go. If I exit ,my firearm has to be locked and secured. I’m in construction. I was working at Ohare... on the airfield to be exact. I had to have a pass as well as be fingerprinted to enter gate. My car was subject to search and seizure of any firearm as well as any contraband regardless if I could lawfully carry. That’s where the issues come into play. -
These statements you make are all based on your own personal OPINION.... No matter where or from whom you draw your news from, it is all agenda driven. Unless you are there, in a brief, flying sorties, or on the ground first hand with respect Jeep Driver, you know as much as the rest of us.
