  1. Yes, they are. The drivetrains are the same length and same position in the chassis. Gratzi.
  2. On a related note, are the cables from the MJ and XJ the same length?
  3. Because the likelihood of me finding a white XJ door in a junkyard that isn't dented and scratched to all hell is slim. The fact that there is are two big scratches and dents in my door does not bother me (it kind of flows with the rest of the truck), it's the fact that whoever did it has not fessed up, taken responsibility, and offered to do something about it. Yeah, I hear ya - nothing worse that someone who won't fess up to something they did.
  4. Why not just replace the panels?
  5. Too bad we can't attach .xlsx files. This is still a work in progress, of course.
  6. I like that. I've been looking for a write up on it and haven't found one yet.
  7. Is that a late model center console?
  8. Best part of getting married is the extra $ left over afterwards that you can put towards reducing debt!
  9. What wrong with keeping a Jeep in pristine condition and not offroading it?

    Osama is Dead.

I didn't realize that the Taliban offered to give up bin Laden.

    Osama is Dead.

    Seriously?
  12. I see what you did there.
  13. That would be a Class 10.9 bolt, which is the metric equivalent to a Grade 8. So you'll need (6) M10 x 1.50 x 43(?)mm Class 10.9 bolts to for the frame mounting positions. That's a 10mm diamter bolt with a 1.50 pitch, and 43mm (I can't read the number, but it's 40-something) length. Probably not available at too many local stores. Try searching for a local Fastenal store or a Tractor Supply - they usually have a good selection. You may also be able to find the bolts at a local Mom and Pop hardware store, too. If all else fails, order online at Mcmaster-Carr. Thanks. There is a local fastener store and fastenal so I shouldn't have problems finding this bolt.
  14. From what I gather, the 6 bolts that hold the hitch to the frame mounts are 10.9?
  15. Is there a significant difference between G5 and G8 bolts?
  16. I tried finding the hardware kit to no avail. I am not sure what hardware is needed.
  17. Thanks, will do.
  18. Install a HO motor in place of the RENIX.
  19. I don't know why, but I've always liked those Omnis. I'd totally DD the turbo Omni.
  20. It's a draw-tite but I don't know what the model number is. I have a replacement bumper I'm going to install at the same time since it's not all banged up. It's really rusty in the picture but I'll be wire brushing it and hitting it with some rattle can paint before installation.
  21. What hardware is needed to install a rear hitch? I pulled this hitch a while ago and want to use new hardware to avoid any potential problems. Also, is there a thread on installing the hitch ... I don't remember the process for removing it. Does it use any bumper bolts?
  22. I'm just curious why the number of views on your video corresponds to your getting a good grade?
  23. It must be pretty tough to find parts for things like this.
