  1. I love it. Rob L.
  2. x2 x3 Rob L.
  3. Am I nuts here, or I thought that the Mopar gasket was the better way to go on the oil pan. IIRC it was a one piece, unlike the parts store ones that came in parts, and required silicone. I remember taking a one-piece gasket out of a mopar box, and using no goo... :dunno: Rob L.
  4. Yeah, the only way to do away with that is to have a "true" dual exhaust. You just llose the note of the cylinders when they all run over each other coming out of the pipe. I know there is a company who sells a split header to do a true dual that I considered, but I never got that far into it. Can't remember who made it. Rob L.
  5. I had a FM40 on the Eliminator. It did have a great throaty idle. Never heard it without the cat though. I am sure it improves the sound a bit. Real throaty at idle, but started to sound a little ricer-y at high rpms. But, because 6 cylinders are pushing through one tube, that'll happen. Rob L.
  6. Do you have to rub it in? :( Rob L.
  7. I have noticed a "small" seat of the pants improvement, but nothing life changing. For the price, if you have a TBI setup, just want to eek out some more minimal ponies, and add some anodized colors under the hood, go for it. They are only about $100. Rob L.
  8. Running stock gears with 34" meats? :ack: That's might be half the battle there. I would at least go to 4.10's. You most likely have 3.55's now. I would go for a 4.7L stroker before the 305. More oomph. Rob L.
  9. I am going to agree here. The only thing a TB spacer does is add to the volume of fuel/air mix, and if you are running MPI, it won't work as it would stirring up the air/fuel coming in, and adding a couple of cubic inches of available volume. Rob L.
  10. Depending on the skill/additions, I will keep it the same, but I will never, never consider any more than a few hundred bucks more into the total cost. But I really prefer virgins. ;) Rob L.
  11. Nice, Rob L.
  12. Wonder how long that took to change the pitch of the voice and time all of that right... Rob L.
  13. And the 5.9. 5.9 for the 98 model year only Yep, I know: (previously in the thread) :agree:   '98 only, but B.A. Commercial: Rob L. I'm still going to urge finding a non-messed with one. Start fresh, not with someone's retarded lovechild. Find a modification virgin. Nothing worse than chasing some idiots gremlins. Rob L.
  14. You really want pics? :ack: Rob L.
  15. I think the official no. was 902. Rob L.
  16. There is a chevy at a repair shop in town that has a black canvas top that looks AWESOME. Anyone want me to take a picture of it for idears? Rob L.
  17. Here's the site for the breakdown of the axle tag codes, they are found on front and rear. Scroll down for the info. http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/Sus ... Ratios.htm Rob L.
  18. Yep, got mine there last year... Got the "Detonator" Assortment. Rob L.
  19. Jerk! That's what I had planned. I like it. I'll take one shipped to 60033. ;) :D Rob L.
  20. As long as you can take care of them. oil changes every 2,500 is what I do. I currently own a '93 with 286,000 miles and running strong. Just uses a little oil(as expected at that milage). Rob L.
  21. Where did you pick yours up from wade? Rob L.
  22. Lucky sonofa... :fs1: I'm broke at the moment, so I figured that would be the best bang-for-the-buck deal. Need to get some propane tanks still for my road flare, duct tape, and mosin nagant trick. 8) Rob L.
  23. You ain't kidding. That thing was a work of art. I can't commit to a beard. Just to hot and itchy after about 2 weeks. I'll stick to the beatnik flavor saver. Rob L.
  24. *Tap tap tap* Just checking. Everyone die? This hiatus of activity is definately not the norm. Hey anyone know where I can get some quarter or half sticks for the 4th? :brows: Rob L.
  25. I have to agree with the under coverage. I know the family is in grief, but the only way I found out was yahoo. Everyone else is still covering the no-new-news MJ stuff. Sad really. Billy Mays just started a new family with a new wife and was looking forward to being the dad he wasn't to his older son, who he patched things up with. I feel for the family. Its a damn shame. Seemed like a great guy. Rob L.
