  1. Holy full cluster and column shift! Talk about a unicorn... :D Rob L. Looks good man!
  2. What kind of car? :brows: Rob L.
  3. Are we going to be able to get work done with Wade's truck just feet away? Going to be hard to wrench without being able to look at something else besides his truck... Rob L.
  4. Yep. Now I am on the same page. I am with dirty. Lots of wood to distribute the weight over the rotten frame. Rob L.
  5. :agree: Details man details... I wouldn't be swapping axles into a uni-body truck that has frame-rot. Might want to start trying to find a rolling chassis donor thats less rusty. Rust on a door or fender is ok, but when a jackstand crunches it like a junebug, bad deal. Rob L.
  6. Some are behind the door panels... Rob L.
  7. :brows: :rotfl2: Rob L.
  8. They are different. Rob L.
  9. :hmm: :ack: Rob L.
  10. :hmm: Where'd ya read that Pete? Rob L.
  11. The way production runs is this: Example: We are in 2009, but they already making 2010's by now. Automakers change lines in May. So '10's will be made until 5/2010. 2010's will be in showrooms in sept. While only producing 952 (in '92 from 1/1992 to 5/1992) they had made more than that the previous calendar year. So the 3,181, is most likely the total sales. You can see in the production numbers, there were a large number made in 1985. So that was from 5/1985 to 12/1986. Make sense? I kinda lost myself there. Rob L.
  12. Got the bearing fixed. I am in. What day again? Rob L.
  13. Rob, Very nice writeup. Thanks, I haven't updated it in sooooo long. I should really finish my vin decoder. I have the renix era one done, but have yet to finish the rest... But I set the spotter up a few years ago to make it easier to identify packages. Still missing a pic of two in that. I also have the history of the MJ. Production numbers too. Rob L.
  14. :agree: X2 Everything should be a mirror image... and in my opinion, if you are replacing brakes, you should do both sides on that axle to prevent a variance in braking power. Basically, do brakes an axle at a time. Rob L.
  15. I have a breakdown of packages in my old website, under "comanche spotter" comanchemj.1hwy.com Rob L.
  16. http://comanchemj.1hwy.com/photo4.html Some packages are here, although mostly just showing cosmetic differences... Rob L.
  17. Did I miss something with the tea? :hmm: Rob L.
  18. Rob L.
  19. I believe you CAN use the trans and t-case. Someone back me up? Rob L.
  20. The crummy thing is, is that I had no viscous coupler issues until I took the intitave to chage all the fluids. After I got done with the xfer case, started failing. :headpop: Guess thats what I get for trying to take care of it. Rob L.
  21. I think this might be one of those places where the moniker "you get what you pay for applies". Looks like the kit is good and complete. Seems like a decent deal. Rob L.
  22. On the same page, on the HO's an excessive crank, like cranking for 5-10 seconds, is the CPS correct? Rob L.
  23. :agree: Try a bench bleed. Probably got some air in the master. Rob L.
  24. :agree: don't fight it with the airbox in place. I think there are 3 bolts in back of the pump, the one on top as a pivot, one in front/underneath to lock the adjustment slider, and one facing the fender which is the one you use to crank the tension either way. Rob L.
  25. don't see why not... Anything is possible with a welder and some will power. Rob L.
