  1. Any details on the lift? Rob L.
  2. Sounds like your cranking out some heat Pete. Is there anyway to introduce some more airflow around the brake area? Maybe a baffle or two to re-direct some air towards the front calipers? A tube from the grill to the brake area? The cross drilled and slotted rotors might help a bit... Any pics? Rob L.
  3. How is that bed so rotten on the drivers side, and the passenger be mint? Rob L.
  4. Nitrus button? Rob L.
  5. LoTGod. Anyone seen or heard from him? His user account says he hasn't logged in since January... Rob L. :dunno:
  6. IIRC, the dash harness is the one that can be either, the engine bay however, includes the transmission pigtails, so, I believe that one is denominational. Rob L.
  7. What a booze hound... :shake: Rob L. :D
  8. Sorry, I have a stick harness still in the truck going high output. Rob L.

    what is this

Thats a SUPER ULTRA UBER RARE Scrambler with the full-length hardtop. They are most prevalent in Alaska, as they were a special order for the post office. If you have a chance at it, snag that thing up. Rob L.
  11. Does the TPS sensor have voltage the whole range through? Rob L.
  12. Its hard to keep the prime of the pump, because the oil is thin, and won't necessarily stay in the pump enough to keep the prime. I have always just pulled the distributor, and done it the mentioned way, but a few of my friends have packed the gears with vasoline, or a thick lubricant to help it suck oil for the first time. Rob L.
  13. This month we are in project country, and since we have been watching this one progress... We decided it should be on the pedestal, for a project well done. ------ JULY 2010 - Comanche09's 1988 Pioneer ------- MODEL AND YEAR Comanche Pioneer Shortbed 2wd 1988 ENGINE & PERFORMANCE: 4.0L Renix 1997 XJ Valve Cover 1997 XJ Oil Pan Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge with shutoff valve Shell Rotella T 5w-40 Synthetic Oil DRIVETRAIN: 1997 XJ HP D30 Front Axle 3.55 Gears 1990 XJ AX-15 1995 XJ AX-15 External Slave Bellhousing 1998 XJ NP242 Selec-Trac 1998 XJ 8.25 29 Spline Rear Axle with Trac-Loc LSD 3.55 Gears Amsoil 75w-90 Oil in Diffs Redline MT-90 in Trans Mobil 1 ATF in Tcase COOLING: Open Cooling Conversion w/Single Core Radiator 1995 Suzuki Sidekick Coolant Bottle 1996 XJ Electric Fan Selectable (On/Off) Electric Fan Switch Mod 1995 Ford Explorer Power Steering Cooler ELECTRICAL & IGNITION: 5-90 Power/Ground/Alt/Starter Cable Kit GM Interior Rear View Mirror w/Maplights 1987 XJ Limited Old School Font Full Gauge Cluster Floor Lights, Ashtray Light STEERING: V8 ZJ Tie Rod SUSPENSION: Rough Country Adjustable Track Bar 2" Front Spring Spacers 1998 XJ Upcountry Front Springs Adjustable Lower Control Arms w/Rubber Bushings 1999 WJ Upper Control Arms Motion Offroad 3" Lift Leaf Springs Modified 2000 Dodge Dakota Spring Plates and U-bolts 1995 YJ Monroe Front Shocks 1993 Toyota T100 4x4 Monroe Rear Shocks INTERIOR: 1987 MJ All Black Interior 1997 XJ Black Door Panels 2007 Mitsubishi Raider Split Bench Seat BRAKES: 1995 XJ Dual Diapham Brake Booster Upgrade 1995 YJ Front Brake Hoses 1995 Dodge Dakota Rear Brake Hose Load Sensing Valve Eliminated LIGHTING: Stock 1997 XJ up Front Stock 1988 MJ in Rear LED Brake/Turn Signal Strip WHEELS/TIRES: 1999 XJ 5-spoke Charcoal Wheels 31/10.5/15 BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A MISCELLANEOUS: 1997 XJ Front Clip and Door Swap Herculiner Bedliner Hi-Country Offroad Extreme front D-Ring kit U-Haul Class III Hitch 1995 XJ One-Piece Rubber Windshield Surround Best MJ story Being selected Comanche of the Month! And it being July 2010 would be on my one year anniversary (bought her July 4, 2009) :USAflag: What owner loves best about CC It is a great source of information for Comanche enthusiasts and the people in the club are very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. That's one nice looking put together truck. :D Its been a great time being able to watch the small touches, and the way things have come together. I must say, as well as the other mods, love the tasteful things you've done to make this truck updated, but not overdone. So, I'll be the first to say congratulations, and welcome into the Comanche of the Month spotlight. Well done. Rob L. :D
  14. Ah... This makes things easier... That sensor on the t-case is a little temperamental at times... Get under there, and wrap on it with the butt of a screwdriver a few times, and see if it wakes up. If it does, time for a new sensor... My '91 did exactly the same thing... I was too cheap, so whenever it acted up, I just gave it a love tap, and continued on. Rob L.
  15. Looks like the free truck was initially $2000 in running shape. :brows: What a deal. :chillin: Rob L.
  16. Jim, this your truck? http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/1770536791.html Rob L.
  17. If you can get it that cheap, and the rest of the body is clean, go for it. Rob L.
  18. Anything can be fixed. Question is, with your skill/buddies skill, is it worth it for you? Rob L.
  19. Are you sure the bottle isn't cracked? The system needs pressure to keep the boiling temperature up. Afterall, the boiling point of water is 212 degrees. By keeping the system under pressure, it raises the boiling point. I guess what I am getting at, is if you can hear hissing around the bottle, there is pressure getting out. It will not perform like it should until the pressure is sustained. I might take a closer look at the bottle. Rob L.
  20. Still need me to come over tomorrow and embarrass you? Rob L. ;)
  21. Assuming that you have a cable driven speedo, just because the cable is plugged in, doesn't mean it hasn't snapped inside. Take it loose from the t-case, and the back of the speedo, and give it a spin. Watch to see if the other end moves. Rob L.
  22. I have 2 others within 10 feet of '90. Wait, or is there 2 with in 10 feet of my '92? Or 2 within 10 feet of my other '92? Maybe I'll just call it three in my driveway. Yeah, that sounds good. Rob L. :D
  23. I like where this is going... Do it!!!! Rob L.
  24. :agree: Completely and 100%. Rob L.
