    what the?!

has anyone else noticed the lack of wipers on it?
  4. is it for your 86 or your 91? cause the 91 would have a 231, but the 86 would have a 207.
  5. cool, thanks for the response.
  6. Hello, I remember reading on here that the 2.5L and the 2.8L but have the same bellhousing bolt pattern, so does that mean with a dakota 2,5L bellhousing one could mount a AX-15 to a 2.8L?
  7. Are you fixing the grand Cherokee? Or using it's parts on the mj?
  8. they're stock, I just really like turbines, and was only able to get some for mine right before I had to put it into storage.
  9. well a lack of comanche hasn't quelled my lust of finding parts for it, today I picked up a chrysler 9 1/4" with 4.10 gears, LP dana 30 4.10 gears and adapter/spacers for the dana 30 to match the 5 5.5 bolt pattern of the axle. all for 100$ so i'm going to say good deal. the 9 1/4 has perches set for a cherokee so i'll have to change those out, I have a set of D44 perches that I'm hoping will fit. also tomorrow I will be picking up a MJ gas tank skid and fuel sending unit from another guy. I'll post the pics once I collected all the parts.
  10. ah, did not know that.
  11. I'm not 100% but I don't think they make metal door handles.
  12. made some slight (but much needed) modification to the corolla
  13. look into 88whitemanche's build, he just did this swap, so he'll be of more help them me.
  14. if the trans came from a 4L you'll need the bellhousing from a 2.5L dakota.
  15. nope, the current plan for it is either give to my sister who is in the process of getting her license, or let it sit in a field for a bit till I have time to fix it up.
  16. welp i'm pissed, my dakota has been sitting up front for the last few days as i have been driving the corolla and some asshat decided that it would look better if they ran their vehicles into it :fs1: the damage isn't to bad, but i'm still upset :fs1: and there is a scuff on the plastic bit beneath it.
  17. fitting a little two stroke under seat :P
  18. slight update I discovered that the car has a small leak somewheres, it slow but after a few days it marked it spot in front of the house, from what i've researched it might be the rear main, which according to the guys on the toyota forum I joined is a pain cause you need to remove the trans, nut it's apparently not too difficult. on another note 4 days after I buy my corolla a cooler one I want more shows up for sale :/ http://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/calgary/1993-toyota-corolla-wagon-awd/1088152840?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true I want it.
  19. my old dakota, restored with a twin turbo V8 mated to the 5 speed with a 242 for all wheel drive (with the low range removed for less weight, if that's doable) upgraded disk all around, lowered an inch or two and maybe a slight improvement to the sound system. turn it into a nice sleeper that can hold its own against a newer anything :)
  20. the car is noticeably slower but handle a little better as well. I just wish it was the efi version, cause this thing is carb'ed, also I'm going to miss RWD, I know it.
  21. well the dirty dodge is gone (well soon to be gone) but not forgotten. ever since I moved to calgary I've been wanting something better on gas so I bought this Drum roll please A 1989 toyota corolla with a 4A-f 1.6L I4 putting a whopping 95 horsepower and 100 pound feet of torque and a 5 speed manual This will be both my first car and first FWD anyway here are some pics paid 750$ for it, its got 255947KM on the inside looks like it just left the showroom floor and it runs excellently, also it came with a brand new set of winter tyres on rims :D
