Did you end up running the shift cable like this ? Where it goes through the firewall above the trans tunnel ? http://comancheclub.com/topic/44456-aw4-shift-cable-woes/?fromsearch=1 It seems like if it goes from the drives side , over the booster that is will have too many bends and possibly bind . This isn't the first time you broke a cable right ? It's either a binding problem , getting melted or inferior cables IMO .

I have an 99 valve cover outside and can see if it has some grommets you can have for the price of shipping .

Thanks for the replies , after looking at the N190 shocks Hornbrod mentioned I ended up buying it all and saving $130 (if not more) that can be used elsewhere . The springs were initially $167 ( now $133 ) and the shocks were $214 a pair (now $112 a pair ) . I don't think I could have gotten a better deal anywhere else and from all the reviews on OME the quality is unsurpassed .

Went for the interview today . It was supposed to be yesterday but it went well . I have a second interview on Monday . I may not have any free time for a while if I get the job as they're working roughly 13 hour shifts 6 days a week , but it's a job . Thanks for the encouragement .

While "window shopping'"for future purchases I found a pair of "used " ARB/OME 2934 coil springs for $133.76+ free shipping . My question is are they really used or is it marked down because the packaging is damaged or missing ? Anyone have any previous experiences with amazon? Ive never bought from them before . If they are new that will save $30 that can be applied to other expenses , but if they're used I'd rather have new . Where is the cheapest place to buy ome ? As some of you know I lost my Job near 6 month ago , I knew it was coming and had some money set aside for unemployment days while looking for another job . After many interviews disappointments and time almost running out , I think Ive landed a good job . I won't go into specifics yet , but this job has benefits , good hours , weekends off , room for advancement and pay , and family values . A good friend vouged for me and I go for an interview sometime next week . He more or less said the job is mine as long as both him and the other guy that does the hiring approve , which shouldn't be an issue . I'm trying not to get too excited but I'm definitely in a better frame of mind .
