I was hit exactly like that , except it was the drivers side and a bit worse . Tail light , bumper and bed were ruined . The kid that hit me I went to school with ,he was drunk behind the wheel and lived 5 houses down from me . His father sold insurance 30+ years and fought tooth and nail with his company to get me the money I needed to fix my truck , went to my insurance company after they wanted to total my truck and they wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole and I had full coverage. Unfortunately the insurance company doesn't pay for sentimental value or value of other Comanches out there , only the price book they go off of . My my brother in Colorado and his roommate were hit by in milk truck at 2am (while asleep) in a cultisac . My brother had a 2014 Jetta with 40k he just paid 10k for 5 months before , and his roommate had a 2018 escape with 9k miles . The milk company was very apologetic, but in the end they totaled out both vehicles with very minimal/fixable damage . Here is the damage

I've been through the whole totaling scenario , normally when damage exceeds 80% of the vehicles value they total it out . Your insurance treats it the same way unless you have it insured for a higher amount . Every state is different, but if you want to keep a clean title find out the dollar amount that won't total the truck out and consider taking that amount . If you don't care about a clean title get whatever money you can from the insurance company, buy your truck back and fix it . This varies on state to state , but that's how it is in Ohio . Average price of the tail light $50 Bumper $150-$200 and that bed section should be easy to harvest off of a rusty bed that is going to be scrapped anyhow . Any idea what they're dollar amount is ?

The guy that pulled the parts for me lives only 15 minutes away , maybe send him a pm or I can text him to see if he wants to pull them for you . Very nice guy guy and packaged everything very well .

The plates(at least the 90 and older ones ) have different dimensions 80mm (d35) and 85mm (d44 ) , on the old two part plates I was able to slot the holes the 5mm no problem when I did my swap . The newer plates are much more stout and appear to be slotted for the d44 I never had had to shorten my driveshaft.

Looks like a nice project , I'm sure it'll look great when it's done

I had NOTHING to do with someone putting the S/C in the junkyard in California where I got the parts from . I can put these parts on whatever truck I want , I spent MY money on them . I offered my rear bumper up if I choose not to use it , but I guess that isn't good enough for you .

There is no duplicating any of these body pieces . I may possibly sell the rear bumper portion in the future and the rest will be installed on one of my trucks .

Just picked a mopar 53005421 for $37 shipped, it does fit the Comanche.

I'm not going to say what I'm after in fear of someone else buying it , but I'm guessing it would be $1200 by the time it got to my door (maybe more). It's something that I can almost guarantee I'll never find another one of . What driving lights ?

That on and off ticking definitely sounds like a lifter to me . It isn't to agree or disagree with anyone else, just my opinion. I have a new 2.5 manifold around here somewhere if you're interested. I'd have to make sure I didn't sell it yet .
