he was looking at the 6" coilover kits for 500ish but then our local shop convinced him to just do the 100$ 3" spacer kit since he doesn't need it to go anywhere but down the road. DD, i say it stays stock, but this is my brother we're talkin about :brows: and yeah, i did put that header panel to use! pm me your email i forgot it, gotta send along some more $$$

brother just bought an 07 prerunner taco (prerunner from all my convincing.) his jeep is way to badass for him to even need to think about taking it offroad. he's already talkin about the lifts he wants to do to it and its an effin 2wd :headpop: its a 2wd, 4 cyl, 5spd.. its nice to drive

i LOVE the truck exactly as it sits in the last pic. I'm not to sure on the visor... i saw a red manche up in WV once with it and it looked totally BA, looks weird in the pics cause its fallin over... ill probly love it too once you get it on there right.

I've not got rears, I've got the stock coils. I need to find another set of rears myself, I've managed to bend my drivers side main leaf a bit. SHould have bumpstopped :cry: oh, gotcha.

87manche, you mentioned stock rear springs... are they 4x4? and in decent shape? I'm looking to beef up my rear packs a tad when i go SOA

is it true drop pitman arms create extra stress on the PS box and frame in the area?

my brother got his t-case REBUILT at a NAPA shop, for somewhere around 700 bucks (before we wised up) and they filled it with 80w-90 which cooked HIS 242 in a few months as well. :headpop: bastards denied that too.

lol, in my state you've just gotta find a county they don't do exhaust sniffer emissions checks and then register. gotta have insurance for at least a month to renew your tags though :eek: its kinda scary how many people drive without insurance, we (mom and whole fam) added extra uninsured driver insurance to our policy. (but i am "selling" my truck to my brother legally to avoid passing emissions, ill be moving in with him soon anyways though)

there is a fuse for the manual tranny's backup lights, it says trans over the slot. that solved my bu lights problem

just do it in 2 peices. the bed on normal trucks does flex independent of the cab when weighed down and all. not sur ehow much flex is needed but i would weld the bed and the cab to 1 peice of metal.

make sure to get a pressure bottle replacement though if you do replace that 'resovoir' i got mine OEM for about 45 bucks with a cap. if it runs hot but deosnt leak fluid is when you have problems.

in that pic you can really see how effed up the roof is, and also how awesome JCR bumpers are. not a single cracked light. the windshield actually looks like balls becuase we can't put trim on it anymore for the risk of bodyflex pressure cracks and such. and it seems to be letting air in at high speeds on the drivers side, so the plan is lotsa RTV wherever it leaks

i saw that and was like... :nuts: you ever hit up tellico in that thing? i think my brother and i are (actually) going to cherokee crawl in july. its a NAXJA event.
