  1. uh the best thing would be a cherokee donor vehicle with the same engine as your truck and matches your trucks tranny style (auto or manual) but you'd need the front axle, (might as well take the springs too the 4x4 ones are higher) driveshaft, transfer case, transmission, floor shifter for 4x4, linkage for t-case shifter, floor console from 4x4, shorter rear driveshaft iirc, and make sure the axle's gearign matches your rear axle. all bolt in if you get the right parts. welcome to da club!
  2. on-road? that had to be scary.
  3. beautiful manche, and beautiful daughter as always. it's great to see a smilin lil one.

  7. nice, I'm planning a swap from the BA10 to an AW4 myself soon, but i plan on using an http://www.awshifting.com style shift kit, cause I'm not sure i want to deal with all the wiring stuff... i might later on if it gets annoying.
  8. i figured that would turn a few heads when i said that. 17 now, be 18 on july 16th I've met pete, cool dude. we spent a while shootin the breeze and chatting abouto a month ago maybe

  11. hey jb, you know this guy? saw this truck in douglasville
  12. went back to morris mountain orv. again yesterday. pretty nice wheelin, i ended up pulling the muffler off the back of the cat going through the same section you see in these pics earlier in the day (brothers XJ) man i love that thing, it crawls like mad. oh and that rock the front left just came over in the last pic is taller than a 35" BFG on the side he had just come up
  13. if he'd worn a full helmet & 5 point harness, probly would've come out unscathed... just with a sore @$$ :brows: that's rediculous though. wouldn't catch ME anywhere NEAR some BS like that. i'm trying to make it through to my 18th birthday ;)

    yay DD!

is it just me or does every old honda you see burn oil in rediculous amounts?
  15. the ECU is separate from the TCU, shouldn't be necessary you WILL need the throttle body from the other jeep with the kick-down cables and TPS attached if you want it to work like it was built that way.

    sweet

i've driven an XJ with 3.73s and 235s, also had the AX15.... NICE combo for power IMHO, didn't get her up to speed though, jsut a little teaser around the block
  17. stock sucks? i wheel the piss out of my manche stock just gotta be a little more careful with your diff placement the first one is locked in the front, don't know about rear
  18. the MJ 5.5 kit from RE is a nice kit, however since it uses drop brackets some complain (very highly debate-able issue) that the drop brackets catch on rocks and such and limit your ability, i think it's agreed that anything above 33's with the DBs make it not a problem anymore. but of course you know longarms tend to end up as sliders anyways sooo for the price, i can't find anywhere i can buy all the stuff that the RE kit comes with and doesnt add up to at least 300$ more than that.

    woohoo

be thinking about parts anyone needs, also soon to be available is my good working condition puke-goat (which works well for a puke-goat, but leaks fluid, shifts pretty nice should last for a while longer, no notice-able deterioration since i've had it, just whines alot) 21spline np231 if anyone needs parts from the XJ it should be an early 90s HO, meaning 91+ the front axle, tranny, and t-case are claimed
  20. ...? i have never experienced trouble doing this did yall vasoline your o-rings on the way in?
  21. 1995 YJ will have the 297x shafts and disconnects.
  22. Oizarod115

    woohoo

idk how all that is, i know its an HO but not any later than 92 i don't think its got folding-vent windows, the whole thing is rattle canned but if somehow they missed the bumper and it's good ill let you know anything else you need JB? hood? any junk like that?
  23. Oizarod115

    woohoo

my transmission indecisiveness has been solved for me. 500$ for a parts XJ local shop wants the D30, and is paying 250 of it and having it scrapped for free, we pay the other 250 and get w/e else besides the front axle... so now i get AW4, 23 spline np231, all kinds of panels/fenders/doors, all linkages needed, basically w/e i want. and its a 4.0 so ill have everything i need... :brows: we've finally gotten a good deal (my brother and i) cuase the guy sellin the XJ wanted 450 for the tranny and case, and 400 for the front axle, but only 500 for the whole damn truck
  24. WHAT!?!!?!?! 530k MILES!?!@? woah
